The 2019 Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 210.22.42.20.01.002 is encased in 42mm of Omeg Sedna rose gold and stainless steel surrounding a black laser-engraved wave dial on a black rubber strap. Features include METAS certified Master Chronometer caliber 8800 with Omega co-axial escapement, unidirectional dive bezel, hours, minutes, seconds, date, and helium release valve. The watch also measures 13.7mm in thickness and 49.9mm from lug-to-lug.

Walked into an AD to get on a waitlist for a Sub, they basically said there is no chance I get one. Walked out with this Sedna Omega SMP. Honestly half the price double the value and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Rolex!

Ahahah I can't believe I have the same experience with you. As my first watch I was about to but black submariner Date. I'm in a wait list for 5 months or so even with footballer's name there is no chance I get one before I have grandkids. I will probably buy this exact one or the one with steel-gold bracelet in few days. Thanks Rolex!

I just sold my Rolex Sub 114060 and I’m seriously considering adding this exact SMP. That two-tone is stunning, better looking than the two-tone Sub, IMO.

Love the new Diver 300M. Can’t wait to see you’re reviews for the new Chronograph models when they come out. I know I’ve mentioned it before, and I hate to sound like a broken record, but please stop saying the Helium escape valve can be opened underwater. It’s only 50m WR when opened, so that you don’t drown your watch if you jump into a pool with it left open, and He valves are only for decompression chambers and diving bells, after saturation diving, not to be opened while actually underwater.

Not for many - too many design elements are divisive - HEV looks worse than ever, swords hands, fatter case, wave dial etc. I love the scallop dial (although not best bezel) and the twisted lugs. Sub remains the king

I don't understand why Omega evolve the helium Escape valve. I understand why they might still keep it and a homage move but literally zero divers use dive watches for diving now. I am a real diver, a serious diver, and nobody uses dive watches. Why would they continue to evolve this and market it? Plus, statistically it seems that most people think it is all so ugly and ruins the look. Anyway, I still like the Seamaster quite a bit but I would like it better without it. I also think it's funny that dive watches have such an amazing depth ratings considering that, as a high-level diver, even most top Pros will never need more than a 200 meter watch even if they did use a dive watch which they don't..

Much smaller than 170mm wrist my be an issue for the strap. I just received my piece, and am on the next to last hole in the strap, with my 171mm/6.75" wrist.

No. Maybe if there wasn't a gold crown and valve. But as it is, no.

@@SP-pn7xx yes it does. That's what I did.. the rubber makes it look very sporty and less classy tbh.. I LOVE it after i bought the SS bracelet.. it's useless to buy the 2 tone bracelet for 5 times the price of the SS.. So the answer is, yes looks amazing with ss bracelet

Definitely superior movement and attractive design, but would never exchange my 2254 or 2232 for that one. Too much of a luxury fashion piece. No good legibility (hands !) for real diving. Planet Ocean is better (bezel grip, underwater legibility).
