Omega Seamaster vs Breitling Superocean - Watch Versus 

is the breitling superocean heritage ETA movement or the breitling superocean 2 as good as the omega seamaster or Rolex submariner also what's the music in the background 😎👍

@@kingadjust5422 No the Superocean Heritage II doesn't have an ETA movement. It's houses the Breitling B20 movement, which starts life as the Tudor MT5612 and is part of a movement exchange agreement between Tudor and Breitling, where Tudor supply the MT5612 to Breitling and Breitling in exchange supply the B01 to Tudor for some of their chronographs.

Why use a older version of 2500 SMP to compare.. a 8800 SMP or 8912/8400 SM300 will be a better comparison.

Hey! Is the Seamaster flatter on the wrist ? I found the Breitling super ocean heritage 2 (42mm) to be quite bulky and tall on the wrist.

@@hjkhhjkh3635 I also have both and the Superocean is taller on wrist but I don’t mind because I also have a Tudor Black Bay that is also tall.

Interesting 🤔 you would wear a watch you don’t particularly like, to keep its value, or potentially keep as an investment?? Hate to tell you this, you need money more than you need a watch you love… remember bud, you only get one chance at this life. The negligible increase in price for the Omega is definitely not worth choosing something you don’t particularly like in my humble opinion.

Update April 3,2022...I traded in the Omega Seamaster and bought the Breitling SuperOcean Heritage II

@@ejames6431 Interesting. I bought a Seamaster in March 2022 and a Superocean this month (it was delivered yesterday).

did you already chose one? I'm driving myself ( and my wife ;-) ) crazy deciding between the two. Eventhough I think the Breitling is more beautiful, If they were both the same price, I would go for the omega. I just think Its better value. But the thing is the omega is more expensive. On the Grey market in europe I can get It for around EUR 4200,- with the bracelet. But I can get It at the AD for 4600,- . For that little bump in price I would get it from the AD. The breitling however is around EUR 3300,- (with the bracelet) grey market, with activated warranty, but EUR 4200 at the AD. So I would get that one grey market. Its not a fair comparison but the difference for me is EUR 3300,- for the breitling to EUR 4600,- for the omega. Thats a huge difference. But the omega holds Its value way better obviously and I think I will like It more in the long run. so as I said, I/m driving myself crazy :-)

Thank you for your comment. I can only give a guide based on my general knowledge of median wrist sizes. Since wearability is based on preference, ultimately the buyer has to decide on their own what they think is best and I encourage folks to always do additional research to make the best purchasing decision possible 👍

@@watchlife5387 Correct. "Wearability is based on preference"... which is why we should stop using that term to describe any large watch. It's too big for you. Specifically you. You wouldn't review a suit in the wrong size and call it "unwearable"...it's just not YOUR size. That's not the suit's fault. It's made for someone else It's a silly term that has caught on in the RU-vid watch community in the last few years. The sooner we abandon it the better.
