Well...I thought the LU Chopard was a strong piece to start - it is gorgeous in its own league - but those Lange 1815 and Saxonia, my God...Love the Blancpain Air command too ! Tim you are one lucky guy to see and touch those in person !
Very interesting Chopard! About 25 years ago I CAD’ed up a gemstone bezel, sent my design to Rolex, and asked them what they thought. They told me that such a bezel wouldn’t be possible. Hmmm, and so here we are; “not possible” huh? Except that my design had four stones between each major index (60 stones on the bezel; one per minute) instead of three (48 total on Rolex’s design). I’ve always wondered if they used my design. Awesome JLC! Such an inexpensive perpetual is amazing! I’ve been a Moser fan from the start! I love everything they’re doing! That 5320G; wow! PP has so many varied case, dial, and hardware designs but many are specific to specific complications. I’d love to see them offer ALL of their various models encompassing all of these variances in a paralleled three handed, no date version. Make mine the officer’s case, Hunter case back, steel case, salmon dial, blued steel hands, indices, and dial printing with only three hands. Of great pleasureness which would be all mine! That IWC - have you seen the green and red dial variants? Gorgeous! They should offer their Portugieser 40mm in green and red versions as well. Lange - BBOOMM! Couldn’t have said it better myself! A beautiful watch doesn’t need complications or extraneous junk. Often times less is actually more.
