What happens when the cute adorable little monkeys grow up and aren't so cute anymore? Are they returned to wild to fend for themselves? Where do the little babies come from? The pet trade? Are they ripped from monkey mothers?
I listened to a very informative video last week that explained that the mother monkeys are either sedated (with food) and their baby is taken OR the mother is actually killed and her baby is taken (often times only a day or two old)!!
Oh, for heaven sake feed it in a upright position so it doesn't choke and its too young to hold its own bottle. How old is that tiny baby - 2 days, 3 days? Use some common sense.

I believe that these Wonderful/Precious/Special/Smart/Intelligent/Loving Monkey's have a Special Loving Parents whom thanking these Beautiful Little Monkey's into there home's and they treat them like they are children not Monkey's and apart of there family. I watch these videos because they are treated like baby children not Monkey's. And I'm amazed on how well they learn so much. Katie

No entiendo por qué le tratas de quitar el dedito de la boca. Es una necesidad que él está satisfaciendo. Seguramente esté bebito lo han apartado de su mamá, lo han destetado de lo más importante y próximo que tenía que era el calorcito de su mamá y con chuparse el dedito el de alguna manera compensa ese gran sufrimiento que le causaron de apartarlo de su mamá y ahora también le van a quitar el chuparse su dedito. Cómo se nota que no saben nada del instinto y psicología del pobre animalito.
Que crueles son con este bebé, pero ya llegará el momento de que crezca y el recuerde en su mente e instinto animal todo el daño que le han causado y pues él solo tome sus propias decisiones de aceptarlos o de rechazarlos. Lo que es de la naturaleza aunque lo traten de sacar de eso, su instinto animal se encargará de recordárselo. Espero que ustedes también se entrenen para entender eso.
