Tom can still get down 81 or not. One if his best and closest friends is Stevie Wonder who went out of his way to interrupt his gig on The Voice to Stop and Wish his bud a Happy Heart and Love filled 80th Birthday. And yes, Tom had a tear in his eye...it was beyond sweet.

When he played Vegas, they’d their throw room keys on stage. I worked with a roadie for Neil Diamond and he said it was the same deal. They even had a special name for Diamond’s groupies, The Diamond Dogs.

Oh boy how I remember my aunties and mom geting together and watching the Tom Jones Show lol They would all gush over this guy lol he was the thing back in those days. Such good memories of those times. Yes Tom was the ladies man, married but with such a great lady who understood to a point the entertainment biz. Growing up in the 60's reminds me of the innocence we somehow lost. Such is life and we carry on. Loved the reaction and as always, Stay safe and much love !
Saw Tom Jones 14 times in concert during his prime ... OMG that man could wail ... and the dancing ... oh , and he wasn't hard to look at either !! He was a good friends with Elvis ... they often went to each other's shows in Vegas !

If you have not seen Tom Jones and Joe Cocker duet cover of "Delta Lady" I believe its from The Tom Jones show 1970. Tom's voice is incredibly powerful in this performance and as usual Joe is awesome.

So much so, that he tried to encourage him to make it big in America. John declined and was happy playing to packed stadiums in his home country. Tom helped set a trend. There were a lot more condenser mics used back in the day. They tend to have better frequency responses than dynamic mics but are not as roadworthy. They are often much smaller than dynamic mics as well.

Tom was not faithful to his wife back in the day and he regrets it terribly today...he won't talk about it at all but during the days of his tv show Tom admitted sleeping with over 250 women in one year...I use to watch his show in 1969 till it ended in 1971...
The Tom Jones TV show ran when I was in elementary school. When I was 11-12 years old, all then girls would be talking about him in class the day after his TV show aired.
Tom got married at 16 or 17 and had their son shortly thereafter. He remained married until 2018(?) when his wife passed away, although he was not faithful to her. He never denied his infidelities and simply said he would always love his wife and it was no one’s business how things worked in his marriage. He also has an illegitimate son that he has no interest in seeing. If you get a chance, read his autobiography. Loved your reaction. Saw Tom once in concert in the 70's, Tom Jones was loved by the ladies. Women threw their undies on stage all the time and Tom always kissed plenty. lol Love seeing you young people learning these icons. Tom is still great in his 80's.
My Mother and Aunts went to see Tom in concert back around 1970. I remember them talking about how the stage was littered with bras and panties that women in the crowd were stripping off and throwing on the stage! Also, keys were everywhere ...like keys to their houses or hotel rooms.

Tom was the ultimate Chad, he was indeed married for 59 years to his wife Linda, but he's slept with some of the most beautiful women in the world. He has at least one child with another woman I believe.

OK, I have to ask, is Schnell your real name or a stage name? If it is your real name then my minds imagination has created an amusing picture that one of your parents was of German descent and was very impatient for your birth.
