This song gives me the goosebumps every time I hear it. If everyone in this world would listen to this song once or twice a day, it might make us better people. People get so caught up in life and become selfish and it’s all about me , me, me! I truly loved both of y’all’s reactions to this video. Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill are good people. I’m so glad the song was introduced to you! #BeHumbleAndKind
Can't agree. I won't speak for anything else but rock and metal can touch you just as deeply if you bother to listen, at least for me. And seeing as it's Tim McGraw it's not underrated at all. Check out Constance by Spiritbox
A must is Tim and his wife Faith Hill: How to speak to a girl. Been married since 1996; their passion for one another comes through in this very powerful song with a message that needs to be heard by man and woman alike today!
I'm not big on country music, but this one gets you in your feels. Tim really has a beautiful soul. He's just a good dude with an important message to ALL of mankind.
Tim overheard a family friend telling her children these things and wrote the song based on it. He won an award for it and brought her up on stage to accept the award as well. Such a good person
Shawn and Mel you guys are beautiful souls I found you guys when I was in a dark place in my life and you guys helped me find my way out. Tim McGraw has sooo many songs that are amazing go ahead and dive down that rabbit hole 🕳
There’s an ENTIRE generation of young people that NEED to hear this and more importantly LISTEN to it!!! There’s also some other groups of people that really need to LISTEN to this song, I’ll leave it at that.
PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE... Do Don't Take the Girl. I will GUARANTEE that both of you will LOVE that song by him. It's not a long song at all, it's incredibly beautiful and I haven't seen one reactor say anything negative about it. As a matter of fact, 97% of the people who react end up teary eyed if not just crying. Please?? It's such a good song. 😁😊🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️❤❤
This song makes me cry now everytime I hear it cause it was played at my husband's best friends funeral. And he was a close friend of mine as well. We both still miss him a lot. He was the greatest guy. Always had a good heart and if he ever found out a parent was going through a rough time around Christmas or their child's birthday he made sure that the child had something to open on either day. He hated to see a child go without a gift. So he'd buy the child gifts and give them to the parents and not ask for any money or anything in return.
guys, I just found you an hour ago and can't stop watching your reactions to some of my fav tunes. You're a real cool couple. I just heard this myself for the very first time and I gotta tell you it brought a tear to my eye too. What a lovely song...............I live my life like this yet there is still something missing in it - I know there is, I just dont know what it is yet. I'm 60 already so I need to get my skates on - times running out. Thanks for your channel guys, you're great. x x
Tim has certainly faced his demons. He almost lost himself several times to his demons. Thankfully Faith Hill has been an amazing rock in his life as his wife. The wisdom in his songs come from surviving the pain of his mistakes and realizing what's truly important in life.
I totally agree with Anna Hall. You gotta do Live Like You Were Dying! There's also one he recorded with Faith, Like We Never Loved At All that you guys need to react to ❤
It's your Love, Live like you were dying, Don't take the girl........I could go on but those are a few of my favorites! He even sings a song with Nelly......lol
ThankYou so much for reacting to this! Tim is from here and my favorite artist. I always ask for this song, Live like you were dying and Faith Hill (his wife) ft. Tim"s duet " Speak to a Girl" But he has a very deep rabbit hole spanning several decades.More please!
I've listened to this beautiful, uplifting, inspiring song probably a thousand times and I STILL tear up! Always praying another handful of new listeners will feel the sense of awakening and reach out to another. I know personally, the terrible feeling so deep, so all encompassing, of being alone. Just hearing this song plants an iron - strong seed of hope and the desire to take a step out of the darkness and become an example for others. 💞
When my grandpa first died, my dad and I were together alone and he made me listen to the song and broke down. I can’t listen to this song without doing the same now
Great song, great artist and two of my favorite people ... Shawn and Mel. Love you guys. I'm old and the TV is my friend so I have plenty of time to do whatever I want. I've been watching the reactions and I'm having such fun watching all you young folks have so much fun with our music. And, bonus, I'm seeing stuff that wasn't available to us back in the day. MTV didn't come in until 1985 and Lord, were we blown away by that. I could sit and watch it for hours. And now I'm retired and a widow, and I love to sit for hours watching it and hearing all the good music. Keep doing what you're doing, and I'll keep watching ... and talking to you on the TV. lol
You two should check out “It’s Your Love” by Tim McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill. You’re such a great couple, I think y’all will feel this one. And Mel, you are beautiful, both inside and out... it radiates from you (not trying to be weird, I’m a heterosexual female... just calling it like I see it)
I needed this this morning. I acquired the permanent need for a wheelchair after a career coaching competitive gymnastics and a life fishing, scuba diving, and no fear of anything physical.
I really pray our world could go back to when people was like that, just like our mamas and daddies taught us. I'd give my life if this world would be a better place for my kids, grands and greats!!🤟❤️
Omg I just adore u two, y’all are such amazing people and I’m really glad u did this....country music has some beautiful messages!!! Can y’all do “Dont take the girl” by Tim McGraw
I just love y'all energy. And yes - that is my main goal in this life is to be humble & kind and to raise my kids to be the same. There is so much ugliness in the world.... we each have to do our part to make it a better place.
I absolutely adore how many cultures he represented in this video. Years ago you NEVER would have seen that in a country video. But Tim is Tim and he don't care 🤣
I seen him in concert in the 90's in Dubuque Iowa, not much into country but he's awesome. Listen to his song Don't Take The Girl, you won't be disappointed
Thank you for who you two are! Absolutely love listening to you, you're always so positive and upbeat and there are times when I'm feeling down and need it and I listen to you and BAM...I'm uplifted!! Thank you, love your channel!!
Being Dutch, country isn't big here! Thanks to Yellowstone, i got really into it. Started exploring different artist, always knew Tim, but never was really into his music. Got to listen to his newer stuff, and fell in love. This song for me, it gets me out of a dark place when i have those moments! Right before it i turned Christian after a life time of being Atheist.
I keep this video close by. I watch and listen to it when I'm feeling anxious and harsh. It ALWAYS cracks my heart open, so the love can get in and the tears open me up. Magic, thank you Tim! Perty good for a country song, right?
I was going to subscribe but you wasn't completely honest . Tearing up and crying is to different things . The people that listen to country music every day are reminded of the goodness in people and life constantly. Most of the artist come from a church foundation and sing from their souls. I grew up listening to Motown ( Commodores, temptations, Stevie Wonder ) classic rock ( Van Halen, Journey, bad company ) and folk music ( John Denver, Jim Croce, partridge family ) but I always enjoyed the southern rock the most , but they don't make southern rock anymore . So I switched to country music after 9/11 and glad I did because they make the best music to listen to . Country music reminds me of what I was raised to be " a good hearted person with family values " I don't lie, cheat, or steal and I always open doors and say thank you and please. ❤️ God bless everyone everywhere everyday Amen
I lv y’all … you made me tear up !! So special .. this is why I love you tube !! Nelly danced the Waltz to this song on Dancing With The Stars because Tim is a friend of his and he thought the song was so important.. BTY him and Nelly did a song Over and Over Again .. y’all should react to it !! They were one of the first to cross genres ..
Shaun you said you needed to hear that, we all need to hear that. One thing about Country, it will have you reflecting back on life. Keep up the good work you guys. Try "Free" by Zac Brown.
