@@SincerelyK.S.O. I knew that. Kemi Santos Omanukue. Love your channel. Here's the thing. Your reactions are so honest. You RARELY stop the music to comment, which is great. You are moved deeply by music. I appreciate you so much. God bless.
KSO- I LOVED your defense of Frank Zappa and of all music. Love the way you put it. All offerings are accepted at the table of the Alter of music. What a truly grand analogy! It reminded me of something I heard.A musician say: Music is not a competition.
Oh my Hunnie, I loved this heartwarming reaction. It is very evident that your choices are very special to you and you may now know how many of us folks who lived through these songs and groups feel. Remembering good and bad times, lonely or crowd filled times and just reflective times. Good real music is timeless. Thanks you.
You are my favorite reactor on you tube. I love how the music touches your soul. I have always loved music. If I had to choose between television and music, I would choose music, hands down. I am so happy I found you and I look forward to your future reaction. You have such an amazing spirit, that touches my soul. Keep up the great work. God Bless you. I am forever, your fan.
Having these magical experiences, if there is true joy, satisfaction and sense of achievement to be had here it's in having had these experiences. Being able to share them with the world, that's surely the reason you keep making videos. 76.1K subscribers in 14 months. The numbers must pale in comparison when there is this much joy in your life. Here's to the next one, two, three hundred songs.
You should do a reaction to the Bee Gees, How can you mend a broken heart. I believe it’s one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded and I don’t think you have reacted to it. Have you heard it before?
I can appreciate how difficult it is to sort through all of the music you've discovered since starting your channel, and then narrowing it down to a relative handful of favorites. I have more than 14,400 songs just on a single tablet, not counting what's on my computer's hard drive, or my CD collection. If I were to try to pick my top 40 or 50, it would be an impossible task. I look forward to the second part of your video. 😄
I doubt any of the you tube reactors are as affected by music as you. Great to see. And, you have inspired me to take a fresh look at Frank Zappa and Joanie Mitchell. :)
Frank put out so much music in his short life (53 yrs) its mind boggling, as a life long die hard Zappa fanatic I think I can safely say that 50 to 60% of his stuff you wont like. In the spirit of saving you from wallowing thru an endless list of Zappa songs and possibly getting discouraged here,s a list of Zappa albums you should check out, if you like stuff from these albums then there,s a whole lot more for you in the Frank Zappa play book. 1 zoot allures. 2 apostrophe. 3 you are what you is. 4 one size fits all.5 bongo fury.6 overnight sensation.
As you know, virtually all the white singers/bands in the US and Europe/UK were immensely influenced by "black" music/musicians, especially the southern Blues, but also Jazz, and R&B. Thanx so much to all our black brothers and sisters for giving so much, and often with too little compensation!!!
I’m back- I hope you saw my comment below- or wherever it is- You mentioned INXS “Need you Tonight.” You NEED to do it in full with “Mediate.” “Tainted Love/Mediate” is how you look it up- again with Soft Cell Tainted Love/ Where did our love go” is a MUST- you missed so much goodness- especially if one or both of these is in your list- you need to hear the full versions- Whomever requested didn’t name best versions- (the only versions as far as I and many others have said) It’s the same situation as “We are the Champions” and “We will Rock You.” Played together- I hope that you understand- I’d love to see/hear you do them as I properly titled them above- please- 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼❤️
Knights in White Satin was my high school class song. I am looking forward to you listing your top voices, and to your top musicianship. And maybe your top emotional reactions - The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald is heartwrenching.
Bee Gees listen to Don't forget to remember me. 2 Words. 3 World. 4. How can you mend my broken heart n more. Queen- yes too good. Fleetwood Mac yes . Always look forward to your reactions. Simon n Garfunkel yes. Andy Williams love story or Speak softly love 3 Dr Zhivago theme song etc. JIM Reeves I love you because. 2 Christmas songs 3 Adios Amigo. Yes Nights in white satin Moody Blues. Keep me hanging on. By Carliisle stay safe and look forward to next story time.lots of love from Melbourne, Australia.
I truly have to say that I was never aware of anyone in the music industry having a negative view of Franks stuff. He was revered as a genius musician, lyricist and performer by just about everyone as far as I could tell. Rock, jazz and prog artists loved him. Cheers sweetheart!
One of my favourite reaction videos was your reaction to Queen and I want to break free. If you remember rightly, you were in fits of laughter when you saw Freddie with his black leather skirt and pink woollen top pushing the vacuum cleaner!😜🤣
Just started watching your best reactions and I can almost bet Barbra Streisand will be here. I love your honest reactions. You are a true delight to watch!!
Babs better be here! 😉 Kemi’s reacted to the most, or at least the most variety of styles, across Barbra’s. Kemi seems to react to the voice as well as the emotion it carries.
“Sailing” has yet to lose its magic - every time I hear it. I’m a fan of Zepplin, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Zappa etc. and the expansive playbook of music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. But rarely do I have the visceral experience that’s as powerful as the one I have with that song. ❤️
70's Rock !!! 🤙🎸. You still have to experience Derek and the dominos live at the filmore & Hendrix and a band of Gypsy's live at the filmore . Those 2 albums will blow your mind . Especially since you love guitars 🎸😏
If you are this passionate about the songs you discovered on this channel, I would love to watch you enjoy the favorites that you enjoyed before, and grew up with. It would be as much a discovery for us to learn what kind of music led you to enjoying so much diversity, and, I don't think I'm alone in this, I feel it would bring so much joy to have you share them with us. Perhaps a new series?
I do like 'Everywhere' and the whole album that it's on, called 'Tango In The Night'. One of my favourite 80s albums. The song called 'Caroline' is very good.
I think I can understand why it is so difficult to choose because there are some extremely good artists and songs which you have covered and you could give the number 1 spot to a song & video for a perfectly viable reason but then you think of another that you really love and that might also have a very worthwhile reason for being number 1 but at the same time is completely different.
❤️🤠 Diamonds on the soles of her shoes… Her being Carrie Fischer ... Princess Leia from Stars Wars .... ex-wife... Daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fischer... Who abandoned her and her mom to runoff with Elizabeth Taylor… Back in the day… The stories go on anon… ✌🏼❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸🤠
The thing I like about Zappa is he dose all kinds of music and as grow as a listener Frank is all ways a step ahead.from hay punk to a pound for a brown off yellow shark and everything between.
It would be almost impossible for you not to mention Freddie and the guys in Queen. So many great tracks and I mean truely great songs that actually make you cry because they mean so much.
Kemi!!! Beautiful name! This collection just makes my heart so warm. It’s a landslide of emotions, that’s what music is, l love this so much, you are positively glowing❤️ I had to add this…l want another version of reality where I’m Mrs Barry Gibb….just saying😂❤️
Kemi the fan girl, '80s baby with a '60s soul. And bless your sweet soul, Hunni Bee. We will be out here in RU-vid space, delighting in your journey of discovery and remembering what it was like when that song first came on the radio or when a friend pulled out a record and said, "You gotta hear this!" And even discovering something new ourselves along the way. Music without end. Amen Amen.
Sincerely kso beautiful girl love your first time reactions i hope you listen to more of alexander o neal and englebert humperdinck both phenomenal singers englebert humpernick one of the all time great pure voice talents in music i love alexander o neal you take care.
Such a great defense of Frank Zappa. Thank you! I really enjoyed this video. You’ve affirmed for me what I tell people all of the time, that the music from the 60’s and 70’s is the best. Of course it’s a matter of opinion, but you can’t deny the incredible talent and diversity. So many great singers, song writers and musicians. Love your list, even though I think you left off some greats. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Fantastic number one! Moody Blues!
CONGRATULATIONS on your anniversary! What a variety of groups and styles. You are open to every genre as everyone should be. To like only one style is to miss out so much happiness and joy!
My favourite reaction of yours is Queen I Want to Break Free! Then perhaps Eva Cassidy Fields of Gold. Very different reactions, but both excellent. You’re great!
Hey KSO- what I was trying to type at the end of the live- when you did INXS “Need you Tonight”..you missed the part called “mediate” at the end- they go together- AND even more importantly- Soft Cell “Tainted Love.” It’s “Tainted Love/where did our love go.” I can’t bare to listen to it without the last half “where did our love go.” Someone else recently did it and myself and MANY others told them and agreed in their comments- There is sooo much greatness missed- It’s like how they do with “We are the Champions” and “We will Rock you”- the way they must go together- Its like that with the 2 I listed above- I’d love to see you see/hear you do both of those in entirety- ❤️💝🥰
Kemi - (A fittingly adorable name) , If you're going to be honest you better include the Allman Bros. Whipping Post in PT 2. We all saw what those guitars were doing to your body, I felt like a Peeping Tom for crying out loud
Queen is how I found you. Your reaction to their songs was something I felt deep inside. You were the second reaction channel I subscribed to behind FBE.
I was hoping you mentioned the song by MALCOLM MACLAREN, because I felt your joy at rediscovering the song. I had tears right along with you Ms K.S.O!! Love the diversity of your artist choices and I'm looking forward to PART 2....
K.S.O., I don't share all your faves, but I think we agree that *music is love*. I think we need further top song reactions. PS. Did you know that Kemi is a city in Northern Finland? Well, you probably did.
Lol... that’s great my favs are MINE. Just as your favs are YOURS. We aren’t clones of each other so it’s expected. I appreciate that you have different favs. We could share lists. That’s the beauty of this. I didn’t know that Kemi is a city in Finland, would love to visit it someday.
My favorite reaction videos are mostly the one's when you get emotional. Not because I like to see you cry but it's amazing to witness a song touching your heart. Also thank you for finally acknowledging your major crush on Barry 😂
My personal favorite was your reaction to Tom Waits - I Hope I Don’t Fall in Love with You. I know it was a difficult listen, but your response was exactly appropriate for that song. The end of that video is when I hit the sub button.
Have you reacted to Aretha Franklin's duet with George Michael? Knew You Were Waiting is the title, I think! Heard it on the radio and it sounded like a song you'd really like.
WHAT!!! No Terence Trent D’Arby on this list?! I’m really shocked. Also, I know that it’s a matter of taste but you have Van Halen, Boston, and Christopher Cross but no Beatles, Led Zeppelin, or Pink Floyd? Wow ok.
