I backed this game on Kickstarter and have been following the development on their Alpha discord channel, finally had some time to hop in today and I’m so in love 😍 can’t wait to see more playthrough videos!! I love that there are so many little Southeast Asian references throughout the game. as a half-Indonesian it makes me so happy to see that in a game that so many people are hyped to play 🥰

Even though Harvest Moon has long since come and gone, it still is the finest blueprint for all modern sim games

@@Aqualightnin I beg to differ there for bit, Story of Seasons and Story of Seasons : Trio of Towns are great. Especially the later, Trio of Towns are menacingly fun and just great in almost every aspect. I could wrote an essay about it. Olive Town ? Yeah about that. There's something just.... Bland about them.

This is really like Bali when covid comes, almost all of Bali thrive from tourism so they're affected a lot. They already have cool, touristy places just like in CI too.

This game looks beautiful- I really like the portrait style and the interiors are so cute! The music is very nice too :) Dig spots, checking trash bins, it really makes you appreciate how much inspiration Stardew provided for this genre. As a huge fan of the old Harvest Moon games (now Story of Seasons) it is so cool to see all of these games coming out. I'm going to have to wait for controller support to play but I'm excited for your lp to see what I have in store when the time comes! Your excitement is contagious, Tuesday can't come quick enough :)

There's a few other games out there that let you change the game speed. My Time at Portia and Sandrock both let you. And also Sun Haven.

Looks nice and it's nice to see that the map tells you how many townies are at some place. But I don't think I will get this one I have a few farming games and tbh I'm kinda tired of playing farming games. But I will watch your videos about these games. Just don't feel like playing it myself - for now. Right now I even stopped playing farming games that I do own. I feel like I need a break from them.

This is absolutley Stardew Valley 2. After hundreds of hours in STV and an hour or so on CI, I felt right at home. Sure it needs more work but A+

The game looks gorgeous. I love how full the world feels. That's one of my only complaints about Stardew; there's just not enough people there. I love the tropical music. It's so good. I can't wait until it comes to Switch.

So far I really like Raj, he's really handsome. Suki has a great design and seems like she has a great personality, and Dippa is awesome because it's great to see nonbinary rep! I wonder if Suki has kids, based on the stretch marks on her stomach. She's quite skinny and doesn't have stretch marks anywhere else, so she could have gotten them from being pregnant in the past

The mayor and carpenter/s greet you at your run down shack with farmland at your doorstep. You can find the carpenter/s in the northeast, and the beach to the south. You have arrived in Stardew... wait! Don't forget you'll be catching bugs and filling out a criterpedia! Or that the dig spots look exactly like the ones in that stardew mod! Ah. Yes. You have arrived at Modded Stardew Island Crossing! All kidding aside, it looks great, and I can't wait to play it. :)

I was watching Sarah's stream earlier and it always announces on screen what you've harvested/foraged and who you met, etc. Is that a mechanic you can turn on and off? I don't see it happening with you
