I came upon Barry White's "Staying Power" album at a garage sale. I bought it and while driving to the next sale placed the CD in the player and the rest is history. The man blew me away. I was familiar with his earlier work, but this album is pure perfection. He was amazing!

In 1990 I saw Barry White at a grocery store in Sherman Oaks, CA. He was a very large man, in height and shoulder to shoulder, a big guy. No wonder his voice is so deep.

Listen back in the day I had all of Barry White's albums, I told someone the man could sneeze, gargle,, snore or cough and I would buy that album.
