Hi Deanna! Happy belated Birthday 🎂 🥳 Love all the fabrics you bought especially the lady bug with the blue background fabric. The avocado doing yoga is so adorable. Congratulations on getting a Singer embroidery machine. I have 2 Singer embroidery machines. I got my first one about 15 years ago and my second about 10 years ago. I also learned to digitize designs into embroidery format. It's been a few years since I've used my machines. They are fun to use. Always make a test run of your designs before putting it on a final project. So if you encounter any problems you'll know what to do ahead of time or do changes to your choice of thread color. Enjoy your birthday gift. It sounds like you have a wonderful hubby that loves you a lot! Hugs 💗 Blessings 😊
Happy belated birthday Deanna ❤ Your husband is so sweet. Your pink mat is awesome. Hope you like your new machine. Hugs & Moochies my sweet friend 🤗🤗💋💋🐘🐘
What a wonderful Birthday gift. And yes your husband is a keeper. When you talk about him I have such great memories of my husband. He was always thinking of me like Mr. Crafty does you.
Excited for you I have 2 embroidery machine and sewing. Love them my first was a Viking husqvarna around 29 years old still works great. My other one is a bernatta 880 which is only 6 years old. It’s a lot of fun. I know you will love it. Enjoy
That sewing machine is wonderful !!! I just bought that a couple months ago. I want to learn embroidery and it is a perfect machine to learn on! Happy birthday and enjoy!!!
What a wonderful birthday present! ❤ He’s definitely a keeper. I also love the yoga avocados! Take advantage of the free in-person class. I have been told you learn great tips and tricks
What wonderful birthday goodies! Nice score on that Singer! Speaking of.... Husqvarna is a well-loved machine manufacturer from Sweden. Very known the world over for things like tractors and chainsaws. The name is roughly pronounced "HOOSK vwar nuh." The V sound ... I'm not sure how to write that out accurately. It's almost like it's a mix of a Wuh W sound and a Vuh V and a Fuh F sound, but if you just hit it like a straight V, you're fine. 😊
Happy Birthday. Hope you love your new machine. My only hope is that you may be sorry you didn’t listen to hubby and get a little bigger hoop size. Machine embroidery is very additive 😹
Good luck with your embroidery machine. Not long ago, we drove to Texas (from Missouri) to buy a gently used 15 needle machine. I’m still learning it but I’m loving it. My single needle is a HuskaVarna which I love but I outgrew it. You may want to consider a polyester thread on your machine.
I have 2 embroidery machines one a Singer 6000 and the other Bernina B780 Love doing free standing lace and I put a design in the cards I send out yearly. As a fact the gingerbread ornaments I sent you for Christmas is an in the hoop design I made on one of them. I got a cutting machine like you got with my gift card, I have not used it but will soon. Thank you for the Michael's card and enjoy the new machine, it will add so much more to your crafts. I will tell you the thread will add up as you use the machine, so find a storage area, you will need it, keep it out of the sun light. I use cut away, water soluble, tear away, sticky back and everything I can find. I always double my stabilizer. All machines have a learning curve each is different but the outcome is awesome. When my mom was alive she would save me the sales paper and tell me to make her a bag like that and it always had embroidery mainly roses. I was glad I was able to do that for her and she loved changing out her bags each time she went anywhere. Sorry I was so long winded but don't get me started on those machines. Bless you and the hubby.
You and your husband definitely went on an adventure for your bday :) Glad you found the pink mat you’ve been looking for! It looks great. What an awesome birthday gift of that sewing/embroidery machine 🤩 TFS and have a great week ahead 🩷🩷
The embroidery machine is awesome. Looking forward to the projects you complete. I've been wanting one but I'm not ready to dedicate time to learning to use it and all the supplies needed.
Love embroidery! OMG, it is not a cheap hobby though. Lot of free designs to start with on many sites. If you belong to Creative Fabrica, that would be a great place to get yr designs. Also, I love combo machines. I have several emb machines and they are all combo. Fun haul, thanks for sharing.
Your husband is a true sweetheart - you deserve to be spoiled for your birthday! I have a Brother sewing/embroidery machine and I love it. Truthfully I haven't tried out the embroidery functionality b/c I'm super intimidated so I can't wait to hear how you like your machine!
What a great way to spend your birthday. You are very blessed. My husband is very supportive of my crafting as well. I live in Canada but am very fortunate to live in a border city, My husband will bring me to the US so I can hit up Joann, Hobby Lobby, Target etc as long as we stop at Menards and go out to eat! LOL Can't wait to see what you make with those notebooks.
I have two Viking computerized machines which I spent thousands. In fact, I have the very first computerized Viking that came out the Viking one. I think I paid three grand for that. The next one was worse now I realize that they’re both over 20 years old but I just Have to have them go in for service because the computer sized screen where you see what you’re doing has given away due to age. I’m definitely getting an estimate before I let them fix them. That’s for sure. I would miss some of it if I didn’t have it, but I’m not gonna pay a ransom to get them fixed then I might be willing to trade them in for a different kind of machine, the thing about Vikings is they never jam and if they jam you get a refund. When I was married, my ex would be just about everything in his power to see if he could jam the machine he never.Could. But Viking now owns everything with perhaps the sewing machine company they don’t own is Bernina if they do, someone will correct me but I know that they only have one company that has sewing machines that they do not represent now. I was shocked when I found out they bought singer. I also have a singer. My kids got it for me and I’ve never used it. It’s still in his box. It’s moved to three different houses, one of these days. All of a sudden I’m incredibly interested in crocheting which is different than wanted to make a quote which I generally always want to do or paper scrapbooking which I am totally done with. I’m going through my scare room right now and getting all my paper, crafting supplies and machines together and I’m gonna advertise it locally in Illinois for one flat rate and if someone is interested in it, then I’ll start busting up well actually I’ll have it all ready to go if I have to break it up and sell it. i’ve got a couple of crickets and Empress things I’ve never even used and I’m not gonna go back to it every once in a while I’ll see some paper and I think I should get that I know I would use it and then I come reality and realize that I have a gazillion pads of paper in my room that I have not used. I know I’ll never get out of it what I put into it but if it would make someone else, happy to have it all and the price is right for them I would be so glad to have it.gone. Congratulations on a new machine new possibilities, new dreams new things for the craft show. Mr. crafty is First Rate.
Any day that starts out with breakfast out has the potential of being outstanding. If there is anything I would like more than going out to breakfast I don’t know what it is you can keep lunch and you can keep dinner, but say, would you like to go out to breakfast I’m your friend for life. belated happy birthday to you I think Mr. crafty did a pretty good job today
