I'm from Seattle and while the geography isn't 100% accurate, its actually pretty close! The buildings are on point even though they're renamed. That TV station doesn't exist though. Also the local plant life they used is super accurate. Lots of ferns and ivy, evergreen trees, maples, and fields with pops of daises and lupine. I also really like how the weather is nice one minute and then rainy the next, because it do be like that here.
dogs, horses, cats, or any other animals have never sinned or done wrong unless necessary so yes we feel super bad. Also yeah I know someone is gonna come in and say HUMANS ARE ANIMALS TOO and fine according to science.
@@naylisyazwina6836 I know that humans are in fact scientifically proven to be animals and I am aware that animals like cats, dogs, horses, etc. are better than people and are very pure.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the dialogue among the soldiers. Like when they find someone the each have a name and the recall of previous events once you get to a new area. Or even when you're about to take someone down with a stealth kill, the say "bad idea, girl" or "let me go, we can work something out". the amount of thought that went into this game is so astonishing. I've always loved ND.
Ona Robinson I don’t know if you’re trying to defend mistreatment of employees by asking how a random app company treats theirs or if you’re genuinely asking. Not sure if those two sentences are related or if they just happen to be next to each other. I didn’t suggest boycotting Rockstar, I just said I wished they treat their employees better because they make really incredible games. Their employees are subject to pretty extreme crunch time, working 100+ hour weeks. A lot of that overtime is unpaid. It’s bad enough that people had emotional breakdowns.
The way every one of Jacks episodes ends is so cool to me. Makes it feel like a really well edited movie. By the end I’m hesitant to quit full screen and move on with another video! Well done!
Tommy: *getting shot at* Ellie: Shit, Tommy's getting shot at, I need to get to him as fast as i can. Jack: LOOK AT THIS GRASS. THIS IS THE GREATEST GRASS I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.
Kaspar Laugasson She wore the mask so the other people wouldn’t find out, it’d be too risky to take it off like Joel had said in one of the mini flashbacks (I believe a few episodes ahead). She wasn’t finding anything from Dina but actually hiding it from everybody else by wearing the mask, after all, this whole this was started by Ellie’s immunity so it’s caused much trouble with it just being known to a few doctors and Joel. It’s on Dina for not believing her and Ellie was only protecting herself when putting up the rouse in front of other possible enemies.
Tommy: *getting shot at at and may be in dire need of help* Jack: *spends precious time searching a rundown barbershop* There's gonna be a card in here FOR SURE...
yea but would you want to save a regular, boring human over a card that could possibly contain an overpowered hero that can possibly destroy Spark Industries and their evil schemes and make the name of the Society of Champions bigger than ever? think again, buddy
I'm honestly enjoying the hell out of this gameplay. I love how enthusiastic Sean is, his thoughts, how he reacts to everything the game throws at him and how just this whole series is going so far with just playing this amazing game. Your doing amazing Sean! I can't wait to see the end of this series. :D
Agree, and i just love how he takes the game in without the spoiler. Some people play it while keep judging and hating the game every few minutes Because of what happen doesnt fit them, not letting the game touch them because of their hate. But Sean try to take it all in step by step. If in the end of the game sean decided that he dont like how the game, than thats okay, cus he came to that decision through playing and understanding the story step by step, not because of the majority of people that hate it, or because of he decided to hate the game after the spoiler
two things. 1: nice baritone/euphonium 2: it took me until the end of the game to realize it and one i had i burst into tears. what a nice little detail :(
Christian Teague there are a ton of playthroughs of the first game! MKIceAndFire has FIRE playthroughs (haha). that's how i experienced the first game and how i experienced this second game. I HIGHLY recommend it. much love!
Honestly, I was watching Pewdiepies playthrough for this, but everytime there was a romantic scene between Ellie and Dina he would always say, "why is this so awkward" or something along those lines. Jacks reactions make me content 😌
"Boris you suck! I know they killed someone dear to you but geez." Jack, you've literally been burning people alive, blowing their limbs off, and throwing bottles in attempts to get infected to attack them and eat them alive because they killed someone dear.
I'd argue there's probably a lot of people like Ellie that are seeking vengeance, but Boris is extra worse because he conspired and betrayed his own people.
@@Osysseus5277 Beginning of the game: OMG you can pet the dogo!?! 10/10, best game of the year; Neil is a saint! This point in the game: How dare you force me to kill dogos! 0/10, worst game of the year; Neil shall pay for his crimes against humanity and dogos.
He’s literally so open minded and so sweet and nice about the game. Im literally enjoying his gameplay so much. Hes so enjoyable to watch unlike other youbers/streamers.
I just finished this game and started to watch through his playthrough. So crazy to me how divisive this game was. Well not crazy I guess but I absolutely loved it.
Yeah I was kinda disappointed in pewds playthrough I don't understand why he livestreamed it and let people's negativity into his reactions 😕 Such a shame I loved the first series of his
@@xriss1335 ive always been a huge fan of pewds but after joel died he was being such a whiny baby. really annoyed me, so i switched to seans gameplay instead . during the long beard era his content kinda sucked overall
Pewds was getting so annoying like I was starting to yell at the screen with how dumb he was being 😂 like what?! He used to be genuinely entertaining but his play through of this game was honestly butt
My heart broke when Jack referenced this quote from the Walking Dead Game from Telltale,”Keep that hair short, Ellie..As Lee would say..” That just made me tear up, man
Honestly yeah. So if we'd played as Abby in the first game, everyone would have been cheering at Joel dying, just like everyone cheered at the idea of Abby dying. That's why I don't get all the anger about the plot, it's pretty good!
I love how for most of the game, there's no background music until a tender moment or fight sequence; just ambience. Wind, rain, birds. It just adds yet another layer of realism to this incredibly well done game.
@@DRDREAMYBULLMDSBROTHER Mhm! Even if they were Pitbulls, i'd feel bad about killing them, because Pitbulls are not mean by nature. Humans on the other hand, they're all assholes XD
48 trading cards in total, Sean. You can still collect the ones you missed when you go back in for your 2nd playthrough (you also keep all of you weapon upgrades and skill tree upgrades when starting the 2nd time)
I love how positive Sean is about this game. So many others are hating HARD on this game, but I would agree with him. This game is beautiful and sure... maybe the story lines does not meet the expectations that has been built up for the past 7 YEARS, but it still carries a good story.
@@bigbywolf5197 you must have low expectations or you haven't played TLOU 1 seriously snough. TLOU 2 is a just TLOU only with a shittier story. I'd still say TLOU is one of the best games. TLOU 2 is far from being the best game.
I would disagree with everyone hating this game.. I played TLOU through 4 times not even kidding and TLOU 2 once so far. Sure I hated how bad (emotionally) it gets but it is amazing writing if you are feeling for the freaking antagonist. You feel terrible for doing so but that is what was purposefully intended. So if you didn’t like the story that’s fine neither did I but you can’t argue how many improvements have been made to the game. Stop letting your emotions get in the way of seeing what this game truly is... an incredible work of art. Also don’t shit on a game that a whole team has been working on for years like seriously do you even have a heart?
@X of course it is going to be better after 7 years. The storyline is shit if you come from TLOU1. That is the main problem people have. The build up and the story in TLOU means jack shit in TLOU 2. And I am on their side. I could care less for graphics and attention to detail, since most of the "attention to detail" (like the weapons) are unrealistic or just dumb. So I do not care about that. The story is just bad compared to TLOU1. And majority of people are on the same boat.
I love Ellie and Dina's relationship in this game. They're adorable together, and it's nice to see their relationship portrayed as just a normal relationship (well as normal a relationship as it can be in the apocalypse.) A lot of things that portray a gay relationship will make the conflict have something to do with them being gay or even be entirely based on it, and while it is good that the struggles we face can gain more awareness through media and such, there just isn't a lot of representation that portrays us as just people with regular struggles. This game gives us a couple just surviving the apocalypse together, and it's wonderful. There are so many other wonderful things about this game so far, but this is definitely one I hella appreciate.
It also portrays a healthy relationship, not always full of arguements but also not full of romantic moments, it is simply normal like any healthy relationship should be, a few romantic moments here and there but also some arguments, it is mostly just two people living out their lives which is how a real relationship should be, most games or movies like to portray it as something always intense or full of romance when most real relationships are somewhat mundane, yes they do have their moments of intensity but that isn't all there is.
Ellie is terrifying jesus. This game is AMAZING, it's so incredible seeing her take out entire squads like that I have an exam tomorrow morning but i'm just so fascinated, i can't stop watching. Can't wait to be able to play it Kinda wish some of the enemies weren't so brave and determined, like imagine when there's only one left they start panicking. Would be awful, but it would add so much
You probably already know this by now but some enemies do surrender upon getting hit or knocked down, and you’re given the chance to spare them. I think they always try and kill when you drop your guard though.
Well yeah. The dogs were trained to kill but didn't have to be trained for that purpose. For all we know when they were off-duty they were actually domesticated pets. And otherwise the idea of killing a dog is horrifying if you have a heart.
Roasted Yam the difference is that the humans CHOSE to be what they are. On the other hand the dogs were trained to sniff out and attack what they were ordered to. Basically we have the ability to chose, while dogs can only really be trained.
"That pregnancy is hitting her hard". She's a teenager, who got pregnant during the apocalypse. She's been running, jumping and fighting people for days, and then she finds out that her friend is immune to infections. I think her rough time is justified.
That's what I was thinking, she rode horseback from Jackson to Seatle. Food, water, and medical supplies scarce. Climbing buildings, jumping from truck to truck, full-on sprinting from danger, and getting thrown around and shot at by infected and assholes. Not to mention the stress of all this going on, PLUS the normal stress on the mind and body of just being pregnant. I'm surprised she's still standing.
Sean's playthrough is so easy to get lost in. I've heard some negative feedback about the game during other people's playthroughs, but I think sean does a good job immersing himself in it. Makes me excited for exery upload.
Ive heard the negative feedback too, but from what ive seen up to this point id give the game a good 8.5/10 it was a 7.5 before because i was not sure after Joel got killed even tho the rest of the game at that time was a 10/10, but after the part at the Zoo last episode, i nearly cried and had to raise my rating.
the game is a 10/10, everything leading up to the ending is great 👍!! there is new game plus after you finish it the first time, so all your gear that you previously updated is there
@@MementoMori7777 that’s conditional. There’s tons of people that don’t suck as well as dogs that do(namely that dog that bit me when I was 6, but that’s beside the point)
The developers made such a good universe inside the universe of tlou with the cards that it can pull you out a bit. Goes to show how amazing they are at storytelling
You know when you kill the dogs and someone is like "oh no" and they say the dog's name? Then you play as Abby and see the names of the dogs you've killed? I felt even worse then.
Yeah and it sucked. As someone mentioned you can throw a bottle to remove your scent trail for that area, but if you want to explore everyone dies. Although, I wonder if you kill the human enemies only do the dogs leave the area?
EightiesChild not to my knowledge sadly. i think if you want to look around in areas without constantly crouching, you have to kill the dog even if all the humans are dead. Because if you think about it they’re still trained to kill you even if they’re owner is not around.
Well in the Hillcrest Houses I left every dog alive, only killed the WLF, and I sneakily looted all the houses, I wonder if those dogs died by them being left alone and having no owner, or if some more WLF came into the area and saved them, at least I didn’t kill them, and that’s all I care about
I feel like people keep forgetting that ellie did tell dina about her immunity in the library, dina just didnt believe her. Ellie didnt really keep anything from her.
@@camerondon3712 but what about in the moments of not combat? When ellie sat dina down and explained it? Or when ellie wrote in her journal and wrote "but did you trust her"? Or when Jack even says ellie has no real place to chastise dina for hiding her pregnancy bc she hid her immunity?
Hate to break it to you jacky boi, but at 30:00 exactly. You say, "I haven't found a card in awhile, it's kind of what I'm looking for." And there's a card sitting on the counter next to the hand sculpture. Feels bad. :(
The fact that every wolf has a name makes me feel a little bad every time one gets killed. They're you're enemies, but they're also friends and family to each other
Games & movie Nation no a lot of game trailers do that so people go the opposite way when making theories or so they can surprise people playing when they don’t see what’s in the trailer
