I don't even care that the matchup wasn't even fair, it was just cathartic to see Homelander get absolutely humiliated

To everyone that's saying Homelander took longer than they thought to die; the first part of the fight is the humiliation stage, where Omni-Man is taking his time beating up Homelander because he killed Debbie, essentially deconstructing his ego slowly. The second stage is the part where Homelander threatens to kill Mark. The moment he threatened Mark was the point where Omni-Man stopped playing and immediately ripped him apart.

A very rare Death Battle in which there's nearly no disagreement among fans as to the outcome. And very few viewers were disappointed it was a curb-stomp, since it was so satisfying to see Homelander utterly humiliated and brutally snuffed.

Everyone knew, that Homelander was dead. But man he took a beating.

Yea, Nolan and Mean Supreame stalemated each other, as for Debbie…spoilers for the comics but… Nolan was lying, as we learn later on, he really did love Debbie, his viltrimite heritage just prevented him from admitting it until much later, so post-redemption Nolan at the end of comics would absolutely make homelander suffer for doing that to Debbie

Basically: Omniman was toying with Homelander for killing Debbie, then the bastard threatened to kill Mark. That was when Omniman decided to stop playing.

I love the "what you gonna cry" scene

The final line in the battle itself is just so raw and satisfying. "Remember what I promised you? Now SWALLOW." Chills, man. And I loved seeing your reaction to it all.

1:47 The Hammer seems to have the destructive power of a 40K Nova Cannon. After eating two dirrect shots from it, Homelander thinking his laser eyes can even hurt Omni Man is kind of laughable.

They nailed it.. Homelander has never faced anyone that made him really push his limits..He is literally a big fish in a small pond..Oh and when he did face someone as powerful in the comics..Black Noir .....HE DIED!

A fact I read about the Viltrumite hearing is that it's not super sonic sound waves that stuns them, but rather it has to be a SPECIFIC frequency, and anything else would do nothing, even at the highest volume(possibly), meaning Homelander was buffed in his super scream, and still got bodied by Omni-Man

A fairly entertaining match that wasn't an immediate stomp. Though honestly I think Home lander might have a more even chance with fighting Monster Girl than Omniman. Mauler Twins maybe, but I think Immortal has much more experience. Hell even Mark could stomp out Home Lander

After catching up on The Boys, this was really cathartic.

Basically, this fight was like taking a fit adult man who had only ever fought small children and pitting him against an MMA expert.

(Some spoilers ahead for those who haven't read" The Boys Comic) For me it's reasonable that Hoemlander got killed. HomeLander is an experience manchild who only plays hero for public image+since he's basically (the strongest hero in The boys) there's no character development or any other way he can be stronger or gain more experience+you can see his lazy even in show he use lasers to kill enemies because that's logical and "easy" Meanwhile Omniman is literally grew up from Battle Royale and being sent planets to planets to keep that world later for a world domination and even battled many of his own kind and survived. Homelander got killed by his Own Clone who hasn't even have much of experience and is just waiting to be use specifically waiting for the time to commit his purpose and kill Homelander(the fight ended quickly and the clone got killed by a lot of bullets and crowbar) In a nutshell Homelander's life ended the moment they got matched

They buffed Homelanders lasers and he still lost. Nice.

fun fact: the Tsar bomb could have been at 200 megaton of tnt, which was insane so the Soviets first thought 100 megaton was good and thereafter scaled it down to 50 megaton so that the bomb wouldn't hit mainland USSR while also killing the pilot who dropped the bomb, the pilot still almost died despite the bomb being 50 megaton and had a parachut on the bomb itself

A couple things they got wrong: Omni-Man does love debbie, and viltrimites are only weak to a specific frequency of sound. So, Omni-Man shouldn't have gotten a scratch on him.
