I think Omni-Man's plan for if Mark didn't get powers was just wait until Debbie and Mark died of old age and then start his conquest. I don't think he was sure a Viltrumite and and Human could produce an Viltrumite offspring.

Oni Man was ready to do his duty for Viltrum originally but has become clouded due to his connection to Earth, which in the comics is shown to be more of a progression. There are worse Viltrumites coming who make Oni Man look tame.

Hello ! If you never read any comic book ever, let me tell you some huge piece tjat could allow you to discover an entire new kind of fiction. Batman : year one Batman : a long halloween The killing Joke The dark knight returns Everything 'good' about Superman, and at the end : All Star Superman (that graphic novel saved my life) Watchmen Crisis on infine Earths Identity crisis (not that good by essential to understand the rest) Everything about death metal (not very good, but necessary to understand the 'so called' finality of some major characters) I'm naming just a few on purpose, because each one of them I named will make you reach other great books PS : I'm drunk and genuine, and French (sorry for the langage mistakes)

Wow, what a great catch that the man who was sent to enslave the planet might have the attributes of an abuser. I think we are a little bit past abuse lol. For example, forcing your son to kill 100s of people using his face is a classic trait of an abuser.

Just because abusers say that doesn't mean this was abuse. Mark literally did make Nolan do that. Nolan believed he had no choice. He had to follow his orders. It's like when you were a kid and your parents had to ground you because you did something wrong. They didn't ground you because they wanted to. You MADE them ground you.

Amazon approved for seasons 2 and 3. My favorite episode had to be the Mauler clones and Robot when they were transferring his essence in Robots new body. They all had a moment. I didn't read the comics either but I was pleasantly surprised about the show and how emotional it was. Great video!

The story is finished, the comic series lasted 144 issues...so it will have an ending....just don't know how many more seasons after Season 3...I believe it will last at least 5

@@GoliathWarfare Yea I heard about that.....and nothing wrong with original stories within the series.....you're going to get that with EVERY adaptation......just hoping they don't forget the story is already top tier...hoping Mark is out of school within the first two episodes....because Episode 1 he was a senior in high school and by Episode 8 it was 8 months later.....so he should be wrapping up high school really in Episode 1

When it comes to Invincible, they will never leave a single story element untold, everything will get addressed, maybe not next season or the one after that, just keeping a mummy in the back pocket for a surprise left. The zombie robots are all dead soldiers, allowing Sinclair to modify and enhance them with a guilt-free conscience.

I love that. Leaving a plot holes and unfinished storylines really bothers me so I can’t wait for more of this show! And oh okay that makes me feel a bit better but it’s still icky😭

Great reaction Monica! You struck at the heart of Nolan's dilemma right with duty and love almost right away. The one thing I would point out is that Nolan isn't hundreds of years old at this point of the story, he's thousands. He has literally spent every moment of his life for THOUSANDS of years fighting in the military for the Viltram empire where the only punishment is death, believing that everything he has sacrificed is to make the universe a better place. Now he has to weigh all of THAT against twenty years on a planet with a species he was raised to view the same way we look at dogs and decide which of them means more to him.

I like this series but I'm with you I think it should be a limited series because Omni Man and his people are too over powered it's like having an army of ants going up against me not much entertainment when I have 12 shoe size. This show is more shock value but too much would make a viewer numb, by this trying to out do the next crazy scene that it become basically kill porn for people with that weird fetish.

That’s exactly my worry. When a show starts off this intense it can often fall off pretty quickly. HOWEVER after reading a few other comments apparently the source material is really solid so maybe they do have enough the keep this going for a good few seasons

@@MonicaCatapusan Yes I believe they do have enough material to make several seasons but like how successful the Saw movies were there are people that are into creative ways to kill people but for me that can playout very fast if that is all it is, if it not saying anything of a bigger meaning that I can relate to. Maybe they find out that Omni Man has a weakness to level him down, so we can get some storyline more relatable or maybe he stay away for awhile and the story focus on his son dealing with who he is and trying to process and understand what his father said to him that could be interesting but all I can see now is a big battle after battle. It's another superhero show that's coming out Friday Jupiter's Legacy on Netflix this genre might get oversaturated but I will watch it and see if it bring anything new to the table. As long as they find new and innovative ways to tell these superhero shows and movies they will keep most people's interest.

"They're not even gonna try!?" No. Because if they did, they would just get in the way and make the situation worse. Because now Nolan will be killing them and Mark will have to protect them instead of focusing on fighting Nolan. Nolan was holding back a lot when he fought the original guardians and this new guardians team isn't as strong as they were. Nolan would wipe them out in seconds.

They didn't do "the Thanos thing". Thanos wanted to destroy half of all life randomly. The Viltrumites had no set goal as far as numbers go, they just wanted to eliminate the weak. For all they care that could have been half, 3/4, or 90% of the population.

10:27 was Nolan sliding in his abuser talk 😂 I'm not on Nolan's side but I do understand his train of thought. He's been indoctrinated for how many years while on Viltrum. So I suppose just like how we view ants, stepping on them however we please that's the view that Viltrumites have of us and most of the Universe.

Like they’ve had multiple aliens come to Earth at this point, you’d think they would want to know about the other planet inhabitants that are just popping up and deciding to stay. *"Omni-Man; i forget how beautiful this planet is... to bad the human race is hell bent on destroying it."* this little tiny joke in ep 4 stuck with me, and is the moment i realize he isn't found of the human race that much and i can't blame him. when i was a kid my friends always wondered why although i might be routing for the hero, i wouldn't want to be a one... i prove my point. you can't just put on a custom and expect to save lives. people die just as fast in real life as they do in comic which i really love. it really pushes the hero to try and make the best option and makes us really feel for mark and his struggle as hero, it takes a toll on hero's seeing people dye everyday. do you save this one person falling off a building or do you stop the villain from causing any more harm, making quick life decision like that... it might be to much, epically for a teenager

Well, the Viltrumites are just like Saiyans in DBZ. And Nolan is basically Vegeta. In the Dragonball series there is so much destruction and human casualties, but you don't get to actually see all the gore behind that. And thats why you care less about it. This show just goes the Hardcore way, and i love it. We have enough Disney and Marvel stuff for kiddies these days.

The older Viltrumites get,the slower they age. And the stronger their abilities become too,faster flight,faster healing factor,faster agility, stronger Invulnerability, higher pain threshold,etc. Sure he's much weaker in comparison to other lifeforms now. But by the time Mark is 100-200 years of age he'll probably be able to physically move planets by himself and take unimaginable damage from gods,deities, demigods,and other cosmic beings of divine proportions. Just to end up quickly recovering and continue on battling forward. He's already survived fighting on the surface of the sun. Sure he got fried to a crisp,but he still survived it. And along with some help he managed to destroy the entire planet of Viltrum. Both events occurred during his late teens or his early twenties. Plus being half human may grant even greater enhancements to his powers as he ages. He's literally one of the first of his kind,so no telling just how powerful he'll get later on in life. Not to mention age brings experience along with knowledge,which will help him gain more information on the many arts of combat throughout the galaxies that exsist beyond our very own. When he reaches the age of 10,000-20,000 years of age he may literally become❗INVINCIBLE❗

I feel like that last speech of Nolan’s, that “why did you make me do this,” wasn’t so much him asking Mark, but rather him expressing an internal debate between Nolan Grayson and Omniman. That “heart versus duty” debate brought to the surface by his memories of Mark’s childhood.
