I like the preventing opponents digivolving on your turn idea. That being said, I don't want Bandai to print "Unaffected by opponents effects" ever again lol
Congrats on fifth, Sean! I'm attending the next CoreTCG regional with Yellow Armor. Since this is my first ever regional event, what would you say is the difference in mindset between regionals and locals (if at all)? Would appreciate any input or advice from you guys.
Yo guys, it's Lucas from Mobile. Congrats on the placing Sean! Just wanted to say Jetsilphymon has gotta be banned imo, because the new dual option coming out in BT17 lets her be recycled infinitely and with a lot of the stuff in BT18 being half yellow, looking at purple hybrid, it's gonna be an issue.
Wait, I just looked it up. Apparently Cherubimon ACE is worded slightly different and the DP minus effect can go off even if a digimon isn't played off its effect first. Chris didn't accidentally chet, but his reasoning was wrong. It's actually weirdly confusing. WereGaru X is a "You may A to B. Then C." Or more specifically to the card's actual text, "By doing A, B. Then C." Cherubimon ACE is a "You may A. Then you may B." It's not the period that informs you of what the heck unfortunately. It's highly confusing and unintuitive imo. Maybe it makes more sense in Japanese.
@@AdaptiveReasoning The difference is whether or not there is a cost to pay. “By doing X, do Y. Then do Z.” Vs “You may X. Then Y. “ The “by” denotes that you must pay to activate. Cherubi doesn’t require any payment.
Yes? I think you misunderstood me a little. It's got logic, I do understand it, I didn't need my examples retyped back at me. It's still highly confusing. Think about the new player again. I was trying to say that I believe that the wording could and should be clearer.
Deleting based on DP thresholds is a red effect. Valkryimon actually is a good balance of yellow/red. It's when digivolving effect is yellow and it's all turn effect is red. I agree though with Ophani Ace. It's effect is 2/3s yellow.
Not gonna lie the tyrant getting second is suprising. Not because i think the deck is bad because i play both it snd yellow armor. But the fact that any time i get a tyrant out people legit dont know how to deal with it and they just start slow playing super bad. Ive gone to time to many times that just because people sit there shuffling their hand not knowing what to do.
