I like how the “You can do better than that” from Kel to Aubrey isn’t even him making fun of her, it’s kinda like encouraging her because he knows she can do better.
And for some reason him egging Aubrey on also gets him riled up too. (Though maybe it is because while he is cheering her on he doesn't want Aubrey to show him up so he gets pumped too)
It could be encouraging, or it could be mocking her with a, you can do better then that, that was puny kind of vibe. Then again they just butt heads all the time anyway so-
@@astralguardian5930 in the last one it makes sense because he says "catch up!" and she says "I'm doing all the work!", but in the second one she says "I'll show you" so it's kinda weird that Kel gets mad lol
This comment gave me one thought (spoilers) "Yay, commiting war crimes is so fun! We should do it more often guys!" *kills basil in black space* "Woohoo😇"
I think it’s very appropriate that Kel is the only one in the group that is able to change Omori’s mood, specifically to happiness/ecstasy.He is the one who brings happiness to him, in both worlds. Kel is the one who always initiated things. Both in the dream world, by acting first, and in the real world, by talking to Sunny and making him get out of his house.
I love the lv2 "pass to omori" Its like, omori aint athletic enough to support kel. But at lv2, omori understands kel better, so he can grab the ball and YEET it at the enemies...he becomes happy cuz he was able to do it successfully!
The Aubrey Kel one is also really good for just going all out on killing bosses, especially with the use of Headbutt from Aubrey as with the attack buffs from Angry as well as normal buffing and innate damage bonus on it when angry it becomes cheap but super powerful
1:58, i might've killed myself in the Space Boyfriend fight with this accidentally. I was in the heat of battle and didn't think and ended up killing myself because of *bol*
That’s really weird though lol, in the real world when you interact with statues of religious figures it says that sunny feels like they are judging him
@@cringekid07 I think it's meant to suggest that Sunny believes these angels know the truth about what he did, and are always shamefully looking down on him for it. The anxiety he feels is likely meant to come through in their battle themes.
@@DLxxx Yeah exactly. I love how the real world still trickles through and becomes noticeable even in the dream despite Omori desperately trying to block it all out. Also, if you return and fight the angels again after defeating space ex husband, the track will have changed from this ominous sounding loop to an exciting battle theme, so Omori has managed to reinterpret even those creepy angels as being just part of their happy adventure.
The bros play defense, kel and aubrey fight , hero and aubrey encourage, omori and kel and hero look out, aubrey flirts with omori until the dude notices her feelings.
6:50 Kel: * passes to Omori* Omori: * catches ball and throws it at the rare bear* *Omori feels Ecstatic!* 6:55 Rare bear: * hits Omori* Omori: Why can't you just let me be proud of myself?
I just realized that Mr. Plantegg (Aubreys plushie) looks slightly towards omori with a very nervous expression during the release energy attack, honestly I would be scared too, I dont like the way he's smiling...
I like how Aubrey liking omori is more of a thing as the days go on like sunny rember if how much he liked Aubrey or almost like the dreams trying to get him to stay in it
@@gutentagdoggo2094I meant that Stab fully ignores defense when Omori is Sad, but it doesn't become stronger/ignore more defense if he gets Depressed or Miserable
I was kinda unfamiliar with the idea of the follow-ups’ effects changing over time until now so since Omori didn’t notice when Aubrey looked at him the first time, I didn’t do it again until I was fighting Pluto and I was hoping it would heal him by some miracle. The second it happened I was like “wait is Aubrey in love with Omori?”
Really? I didnt make amends with her in the real world before Omori noticed her but I might’ve just forgotten that I did since I haven’t played in a few weeks.
Y'all stfu abt Aubrey and Omori's follow ups Kel and Omori's follow up is more hard to notice but is so wholesome Like, at lvl 1, when Kel throws his ball at Omori, he wasn't ready for it cuz he feels like he's not, like, supposed to interact much with his friends, He's more like a spectator or extra (got that theory from a RU-vidr, forgot who) In lvl 2 he starts getting used to tossing the ball And in lvl 3 he's finally starting to have fun actually playing with his friends! Isn't that just sweet?
can someone tell me if this video has any spoilers of any kind. im relatively fresh to the game and want to learn what the follow-ups do but am trying to avoid spoilers (even minor ones) at all costs.
I would say this has spoilers on the development of some of the characters' relationships with/attitudes towards each other. Also some of them are just much funnier if you accidentally discover them yourself! Overall, you can get through the game pretty much without using follow-ups as long as you make good use of skills and snacks. Hope this helps ^~^
I believe they level up once you get past certain points in the game, I think I got to level 2 after the Sweetheart fight idk where the third one comes in but it might be Hikikomori Route exclusive
So I did not know about the fact yhat they change based on the level so I thought that kel's pass to omori was random lol I came up with a technique where I'd use Kel to make omori sad and then stab and I tried it for a good half chapter before I figured that they permanently changed
