Study score for an arrangement I did of "On a Clear Day." This was my final project in Gary Lindsay's class at the University of Miami in 1988 or so. The AMAZING recording is by the University of Miami Concert Jazz Band under the direction of Whit Sidener. This was their SECOND reading of the chart. Solos are by Jason Carder on the trumpet, and Chip McNeill on the tenor sax. Lots of amazing musicians in this band, including Luis Aquino, Jonathan Dresel, Tom Garling, Dante Luciani, Dennis Marks, etc. I recorded this on my minidisc recorder with one stereo microphone! Also note that there are a few updates to the score, as I added a few things when I transferred this to Sibelius from the handwritten score.

Awesome! Letter C and Letter R: Bass Bone/Bari Sax/Bass plays top space G instead of written Ds (octave skips)
