Just wanted to share my EBC trek experience last month. Me and my brother in our 50s completed our 12 days trek to EBC/Chola Pass/Gokyo, normally 14/15days trek. It was challenging after we crossed the 4000m altitude, had hard time getting good night sleep then, continuing next day. Luckily the weather was great, cold during the evenings and morning. Anyway, we accomplished what we wanted to do. Just the landscape up there itself makes you feel that you have achieved what you were there for. Hats off to Mingma for all the mountaineering records he has achieved, Best of luck to Mangal for his upcoming solo bike trip on the Himalayan trail.

The question asked in 54:00 min is a very serious problem. The amount should be amend and should be non refundable so that it can be used for cleaning purpose for beauty of himalaya. (Its just my opinion)

I really enjoyed listening to these two gentlemen's stories. But please invite only one guest at a time unless they are sharing a single story. Jumping from one guest to next really interrupted the flow. It was probably a little unfair to Mangal as his part got shadowed by Mingma's.

After trekking the EBC I have my own opinion on the drone use. I agree that the laws should be relaxed a bit but, at the same time chances of accidents with a helicopter is also there. It is easy to blame the govt for being strict about the drone use but, the Nepalese govt currently doesn’t have resources to plan out where, when and how the drones should be used. You have to take a look in bigger picture instead of from the drone use only.
