Basanta Raj Kunwar is the head of ‘Narconon Nepal’ and a former SSP who served the Nepal Police Force for 20 years of his life. He came into action after his police retirement when he started enormous drug education program in schools and colleges to protect the youths of Nepal. That boosted his motive and later he brought the prestigious Narconon franchise in Nepal with an initiative to rescue and educate many trapped souls in drugs and bad influences. In this episode of On Air, we talk with the savior of the country on one of the most infamous and debatable topics of the nation. He is a money hungry person, he had made a business from the emotions of parents who's children suffer from addiction, the program of rehabilitation is good but not his style and unethically handling of people with addiction.. less then 2% people recover from Narconon Nepal. Rest 98% recover from thier own will..

Big talk from a guy who uses the addicts and their family my manipulating them , and treating the sick people in this center like labor workers , using his business as a self sufficient business and earning his revenue by telling the guardians “ he needs more time to treat himself” ultimately leading them to pay more. I am nt against rehabilitation and treatment, i am against his way of treatment and the therapeutic methods fir the once in need. Violation of various human rights provided to us , therefore, his ideology is not incorrect , his methods are inhumane.

Sahi ho this man ain't great counselor to those patient who are going through hard drug addiction.i don't khow why this man is trying to show black and white to the people but nobody sees through the gray parts of him in his intuition of anti drug treatment there is no any such kind of counseling.he comes on his reahb for 2_3days to look upon the clients dues and collect it.narconan is the worst drug rehabilitation center here in our country.no any better counseling services,and also harass to all the clinets who are there for treatment.eve they beat it too.lol but here in this program how fucking disgusting lie he is talking about his treatment facilities haha shame on you Basant kunwar. I was literally having goosebumps . Basanta sir's voice was literally overwhelming me. I think everything that he said was 200% true and fact. I have shared it with my parents because this conversation touched my heart soo deep and i think this podcast should be watched by each and every Neplease. Very close to mine fell on the drugs addiction .Joined Narconon Nepal . During those time after he came home he has completely changed after that. Now he is clean but not in that condition when we had in childhood. Drugs do change a lot if taken in overdose and you become unconscious after that family suffers a lot being the victim. 100% agree with his point.

I do respect the work that you have done and continue to do till date . however I do believe legalization is the way forward. In layman's terms the cannabis plant contains two chemical THC and CBD , THC is the psychoactive chemical that gives us the sensation of being high or stoned , where as CBD is non-psychoactive chemical which actually has all the benefits that is associated with weed . the weed plants that is used for recreation has high percentage of THC and very very low percentage of CBD , if we look at the farms in the USA which only grow medical marijuana, they have breed of cannabis plant which has high CBD and very very low THC percentage, furthermore if the patient does not want to inhale smoke the CBD can be extracted as oil to be consume.

The world we live in is unique to each of us. How we perceive things is shaped by what we have experienced. The man is just sharing his experiences with drugs. He has witnessed people suffering from the effects. Legalizing would benefit his business, yet he opposes it. It is something we are simply not ready for. Many youths will be ruined by legalization. Many of the influential people who are in favor of legalization are just trying to escape reality because they can afford it. However, not everyone has that luxury.

He might be correct. But he needs to listen what other party is saying. He is so stubborn. If you can't listen what other has to say. I think you cant change the person who got in drugs. Some of my friends got into drugs because nobody in the family wants to listen to them. #Be_better_listener

Marijuana in low dose is helpful.....infact healthy... marijuana is anticancer... analgesic... antidepressants..if used under medical surveillance...don't talk whatevers..even I don't take marijuana...but marijuana has medicinal benefits...
