I find it interesting, having seen the whole story, that she remembered it was his birthday, but didn’t realize at that point that she’s missed Father’s Day also, considering those two things will come close together every year. Also, based on the story, it’s hard to not think she’s cheated on him. She certainly doesn’t care about home, beyond being a father and a wallet.
It’s an older longer story. The basic thing of it is, they all take OP for granted. There’s a high likelihood she cheated, too, though that never comes out for sure.
Honestly I see this mans perspective but how is the wife gonna know if you dont tell her like we are human we make mistakes she forgot or she neglected but if it is hurting you, you need to tell her. She will never know other wise therefore not improving on it so she cant fix the broken if she is unaware it is broken.
That is not the case, the wife clearly doesnt care about her husband, she forgot about her husband birthday and fathers day, and went into a family dinner without him, and then ask why he is so angry. She doesn't give a shit about him, she used him as a ATM and nothing else, because when it is her day he is with her and provides as mush as she wishes, but if he wants to pass a good time with his family they abandoned him. He doesn't have to talk to her about anything, she had her chance to help her family to stay together and fail for being so selfish and unwilling to improve the relation with her husband. Hope they get divorce because he deserves something better... Sorry English is not my first language, I apologize if i sound a little rude, that wasn't my intention.
No good spouse needs to be told to love and appreciate their partner. It's ridiculous to suggest that he has to _tell her_ to do something nice for him on father's day, that she has to be told to acknowledge him on his birthday - even remember his damn birthday - or even say thank you and appreciate all the small things he clearly does. The utter insult in her taking the daughters out to a spa day and then to OP's favorite restaurant WITHOUT HIM, on FATHER'S DAY.. holy crap that's so evil that it has to be deliberate.
