Yeah interviews with Israelis on the streets are few and far between but you can absolutely get a sense of what goes on in their minds in those few clips I've seen. They are just some of the most unhinged and hateful people I've ever seen. So much anger and contempt in their hearts. It's just bizarre to watch. They are always bragging that they are different from the rest of humanity. Well, they are absolutely right on that.

As a 75-year-old American I have long lived in awe of the capabilities of the human species. From the Pyramids to the Space Telescope, I have been dumbfounded. Human capacity for unabashed butchery is a parallel and simultaneous trait that I will never understand. For most of my life I have noticed an incessant downward spiral in our capabilities, culminating in the butchery in Gaza. Ironically, I now feel like it is blessing to be an old man.

Cops lie, it may not be about everything but it can be about anything. Interesting insight into human conditions. Why limit it to cops? Politicians do. Journalists do. Content creators do. Is like I said, humans lie. Power, pride, greed, people lie. Even Ash. Even Abby. I'd be dishonest as well if I said I would trust or believe anything these two say.
I wasn't going to watch this but I'm glad I did as I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. My mother taught me as a young girl that if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything! Your honesty is refreshing...
I'm with you, I can't believe I just learned about Abby Martin just now. 😅 ❤. She restores my faith, in some capacity, to the fact that there are still some Americans that I still respect. I just watched her Piers Morgan debate with Emily Schrader, she should have had a much better response ready to go on Hamas... other than that she did pretty good. She should adopt Norman Finkelstein's approach to that question, it's essentially the same position that she has but expressed more soundly and coherent with added context. 🙂
