Same can be said for the 338 RPM, i would love to see the .338 RPM be but into the Model 307 and the Mark V Hunter alongside an appearance of a vangaurd

You have to level the scope with the plum-bob method or some other method, not just the way it looks when you are holding it.

I mount scopes professionally and always use the Wheeler levels. The plumb bob method is accurate BUT you need to be working from a level surface and you still need to level the gun. I always tighten ring screws to 18 in lb as this is a widely accepted standard and plenty sufficient. I will tighten above that if the customer wishes with a caveat. I once had a customer with some weird rings he brought in insist on 40 in lbs.....I warned him and had another guy witness it as I was waiting for the tube to crunch. ;)

Question Lock tight on screws will it change torque specs? Wet torque values vs dry torque value.

Loctite acts like a lubricant when wet so screws can be over tightened.

Loctite itself states that it can give torque readings upto 20% incorrect.....better to check your torque regularly

I sight all my rifles in at 3” high at 100 for my maximum point blank range. The range changes with size of the vital zone radius of animal.

I started doing dead on at 50. It's like 2 21/4 high at hundred yards

My 307 i picked up in September didn't have the Silencer Central voucher in the packet.

I didn’t get the voucher and decals and such on my vanguards. Got a MeatEater’s in 6.5-300 Wby. Also have the new 307 Meateater in 7mm PRC on order direct from Weatherby than I am (not so patiently) waiting for!

Grab-A-Gun i bought 6.5 RPM Weatherby ammo loaded with 127 Gr Barnes bullets for $65 a box, current price $75 box

I see 307 and click right off. Stick to Vanguards and Mark V's. Also, bring back stainless steel guns, wood, laminate and synthetic. Make all the metal parts stainless steel. Also, a better blued finish on the blued models, thats horrible.
