GTC’s Smart Factory lab is located at their SC Johnson integrated Manufacturing and Engineering Technology (iMET) Center in Sturtevant, Wisconsin.
This lab simulates a real-world production line where students use PLCs, HMIs, industrial controllers, sensors, and more to learn “lights out” manufacturing and data analytics.
In addition to teaching Industry 4.0 concepts, the lab allows students to practice hands-on skills with new and emerging technologies they will encounter on the job.
