Christopher makes one of the most beautiful cashmere in the world. Some of the world’s greatest fashion houses have succumbed to his sophisticated, feather-light shawls, soft rugs and warm blankets.
But Christopher hasn't always worked with Mongolia's precious treasure. Born in Germany, he started his life as an actor, and music and movie producer. His life changed when, twenty years ago, while on a filming trip in Mongolia, he met a young woman named Enkhe. He fell in love with her and with her country.
Leaving his former life behind, he decided to dedicate himself to producing luxury cashmere, a treasure guarded by 20 million goats. Nowadays, he shuttles between Mongolia and Nepal, between herds of goats in the steppe and his cashmere workshops in Kathmandu.
This time, he takes his 11-year-old daughter, Alegra, with him on the cashmere trail.
