The guys love float flying, but this time Ali and Pete have kicked it up a notch with the help of Brand Manager Cody A. to get the guys out on the water with the planes!

Absolutely phenomenal footage there guys! No really that's the kind of footage that shows you the planes potential and helps sell planes, and that your having fun is all part of the what RC is all about . It was your demo on the dock with the Timber X on floats that made me go out and buy one. Nice one guys 👍

One of the best float videos I have ever seen. Too much fun. Reminds me of the distance challenges we use to have at the Reno Remote Airplane club where pilots road in the back of a pickup truck while the driver drove down the dirt road. The goal was to fly x number of miles with the only stops for refueling. The winners were usually the ones with the largest fuel tanks. But the perspective from the pilot was similar. Well done

I would love so much to get a opportunity to do this. All of you did a great job of putting it together. Then to not pee your self in laughter from the enormous amount of fun you guys had is something else!!!!! lol 😂 I wish I could afford a Timber 110. I have all of the Timber series of planes except the 110. Great job guys!👍🏻

Big time props for Cody! In my opinion, one of the best OTF vids yet! Seriously, the side-by_side chase footage is epic. A Cessna Citation Longitude on floats? I love it😁. The Timber shouldn't ever touch dry land. An F-16? Are you serious? Still, its way cool. I may even build a set for my Eflight F-15 Eagle. Do more crazy stuff! I need more,I tell you, much more😉. That's HOT!!!! I"ve always thought this is the best way to fly, rather than stationary... this way you really get to see the plane flying and they are beautiful in the air. I love the colors on these planes Orange is sick

I think this is one of the best sessions ever! Guys can you please ask Ali if he can recommend someone in theUK that would teach me on a buddy box to fly a turbine jet. Like Ali when he first saw and heard a turbine I can't stop thinking about owning and flying turbines. All the help and suggestions much appricate. Regards Jerry

Our demo aircraft usually have a pretty tough life of travelling from event to event. This Timber is Ali's test mule and will probably spend the rest of it's life as that platform. Thanks a bunch for watching and commenting!

Not sure if I'll get a response, but what floats did you use on the EC-1500? I only see "float hardware" on Horizon website. I've flown with floats before, but they were always an optional kit. Awesome video by the way. Have watched it a dozen times. lol

After the floats are built, its a pretty quick job! few bolts for the mains the popping the floats on. maybe 5-10 minutes?

OK. If you’re gonna fly a cargo plane on floats, why stop there? Go the distance and put floats on a turbine equipped F-16. Or better yet a B-2 bomber.
