6S/4000mAh and 6 Minutes of flight time is pretty good for such a heavy plane. I am more into 3D flying but this thing looks like fun for the winter with its big wheels.

I own the same plane with an upgraded motor and fly often. But, YOU, my friend, are amazing. Your low altitude knife edges, hovers etc, are fantastic. I feel like a beginner again hehe. Thumbs up, friend.

Hello, congratulations on your flight. Great. I have the same plane and I can't decide on the propeller. Why did you use Propeller: 15x5.5 (EFLP1555E). I said I would use my 17x10 propeller. I would be glad if you share your experiences.

Idk what's up with mine but at 100% travel my rudder doesn't have anywhere NEAR that much deflection, and that's with the servo and control horns at max throw settings. The rudder servo itself only moves like half as much as the elevator servo right next to it.

I've had my eye on this plane for a little while. Seeing you fly it here has convinced me that I really need to get this plane. Do you think it would fly as well (3D flying) with a 7000mAh 6S as you do in the video with a 4000mAh 6s?

Hi, I have one already ! What is your settings ? ailerons, ruder, elevator, flaps. I think that 40 (45 hr) mm for ailerons, 18 (25 hr) mm for elevator 15 (25 hr) for ruder and 18 take off, and 40 for landing of flaps (according to manual instruction) seems to be too less ? hr - high rate. hr 10% for each and low rate 5% for each - do not understand. Best regards

Tim flies full rates, more than going to fly these figures. Beginners should take the min rates, you can still make them bigger 😉

They sell a version with AS3X and Safe Select features that would be excellent for a beginner pilot. The Safe version is about $430, where the version without the Safe features is about $400 at Horizon Hobby.

I would advise against a Cub as a beginner model. While they might look like any other high wing trainer, they are far from that.
