I am more impressed with activities in the Great Green Wall. The Sahel is losing to the Sahara. But there are groups reviving older farming techniques to build sustainable food forests using the very old earthen structure of the half moon excavation. Basically a small semicircle about three meters across with a opening to the up stream of the land slope. In these half moons will be a mixture of plants and trees to create essentially these small green scales like fish scales across a landscape. The half moon is excavated and the removed earth is shaped into the semicircle with the depression sloped down with the land sloped. It collects and holds water and the depressions stay cool and wet and yet not flooded, so the earth progresses to fertile soil with the needed mycorrhizal fungi and plant root associations symbiotically producing the best nutrient transfer from the soil to the vegetation and fruit and nut trees. Best part is these are dug by hand tools and need no fertilizer or pesticides. It also cools the area dramatically and reduces erosion and of course stops the Sahara from heading farther south. The local people can farm all year and have no need to travel in the dry season to other parts or cities for work. It stabilizes the desert and the Sahel communities too.

The easiest way to tackle climate change is to disrupt the industries that are against it. To combat coal, oil, and natural gas, we need to have the right innovations to disrupt those that oppose it. Tesla if it wasn't Republican would be the solution. A rising power as Ray Dalio would describe is key to disrupting climate change. It is key to disrupting weapons that can kill over 5 people in less than 5 minutes. It is completely and utterly key. The key is to build out the infrastructure that will cause growth. I think we need an infrastructure act that focuses on modernizing the road system and integrating the interstate to increase efficiency of transportation. This includes surveillance on roads, using smart advertising on billboards that use location services to be able to change the billboards on a dime to a specific influencee, this includes sensors that will be used to improve and reduce accidents preventable wear and tear on trucks and methods and strategies to reduce pollution on vehicles. The transportation industry is in a major need of an upgrade and when housing takes a fall in Q1 2024, we will need something to spur the economy and this is it. This includes EV stations as well. Something that we need on specific roads. But the Interstate was one of the biggest contributors to the economy in the 1950s to the 60s and it grew McDonalds and other locations along them. We need an update to it and a plan in place to do it. I have to go now. I am really bored.

I am trying to figure out what the "green new deal" is, she said we should read it, but I can't find it. I thought it included banning fossil fuels to stop anthropogenic global warming from killing us all by causing climate change. Since air travel is so wasteful and completely dependent on fossil fuels, isn't that where we should start? Trains and boats are much more efficient and can be powered by nuclear, solar, wind or any other non-carbon-based energy source. Air travel is just so the rich can get where they want to be faster.
