Who knew it would all fall apart so quickly... 😭 At least you found your way home :) Side/spoiler note: if you (and your home) are outside the chunk in which you died and lost your stuff, it'll stay unloaded forever in place until you enter back into that chunk while exploring, then you will have 5 minutes until despawn. Look into chunks if you're interested in more! Someday you may get lucky and stumble on them again who knows o.o Great journey so far!

Ya know; When we joke/meme about the "aim for the bushes" it's supposed to be a valuable lesson to *not* jump from high places. xD Your stuff should be there still where you died, since it's far enough that it's not loaded in (until you get closer). For your lush cave enchanting area (where the lava and water falls); You're on the right track with moss, as moss blocks can be bonemealed (near stone/dirt) and it'll spread, sorta like bonemeal on grass.
Quicktip if I remember correctly u have optifine installed, which lets u zoom in by pressing "c" I think. Helpful for looking at things far away. Also if u break your bed it breaks the respawn point u set xD And like some other people said your stuff wont start to despawn until you get close and reload the chunks its in
