"on the job" is slang for having sex, here in the UK. EG: "the children run into our bedroom and caught me and the misses on the job". so your video title totally took me by surprize. lol
Dude. Good to see you're well + enjoying being outside. You get 1x free pass for the R-Word ;) If you're building the house - you need to do a progress report/vids. That'd be excellent to see - especially in that lovely setting. You ever get the urge to work with bricks? I dig the size of US houses, but the "flimsiness" or them... I'd want to live in something made of bricks.
Oooh, a LITERAL 'on the job update!' I like! It looks beautiful there - lots of greenery. And I know what you mean about getting out of the house. I was a stay-at-home mum for most of my son's childhood - me taking a job while he was still at school wasn't an option, since nothing I could earn would cover the childcare costs. But once he started college I got a part-time job in a chocolate shop - and the sense of purpose and *contribution* I get from that job has lifted my whole outlook on life. Sometimes, even when you're 'doing lots of stuff' in the house, you still feel like you need to be 'doing stuff' in the ordinary, everyday world as well.
Totally understand. Being in the house all day is a cancer to the mind and soul. Working from home FT has been very un-fun to me. I miss being on job sites where real things are happening and people are being real. You trash talking that guy driving into the work area brought a smile to my face.
Hey, some nice views around there Alan. It's nice to be out and about, I work outside myself so I know what you mean. You know what they say mate, a change is as good as a rest 👍👍
@@lazyminipainting I don't know about airborne. I left work Thursday because I had a bad case of vertigo, was trying to push through it, rolled backwards into a drain box and up on the shoulder from the road so.... Yeah, not airborne but still found a way to fuck shit up.
Where I'm at, no. Some companies do certificate type training so you can operate on their jobs. Some states or unions require something like that depending on the equipment.
Interesting to see you diversifying your content, and I guess it helps with your income as well as mental health. I wish that I could go and do some extra work like this but the trouble is, due to the actions of my ex-wife, I have had to deal with this "Entity" in the UK known as the Child Maintenance Service, who would start screwing me for more of my earnings from any work like this! Still, keep on keeping on. (I have been trying to upload a bit more content on my channel so why not stop by?) Cheers, Alan.
