When I was a child, when the Mid-Autumn Festival was approaching, almost every household in the village made sweets with different tastes, and the neighbours shared their sweets with each other. Later, all kinds of sweets are readily available on the street, and the villagers rarely make sweets at home anymore. The young people in the village are leaving home to study or work, leaving the elderly and children at home, and then even fewer people make sweets at home. This year, I made a big mooncake and shared it with the whole village. We watched a movie together. Watching a movie while eating mooncakes is my memory of the Mid-Autumn Festival since I was very little. After I grew up, many customs have been lost in my life, but my inner desire for family reunion remains unchanged.
