I own the Surface Pro X and I absolutely love the long battery life and the performance for content consumption and general office work. I also own the 1st generation Surface Go and it pales in comparison in terms of performance to the Surface Pro X. Looking forward to see the release of the arm based Surface Go 4. If it has all day battery performance, I will most likely pick one up. The arm-based windows tablets are seriously underrated!
Microsoft had already tried an entry level Surface powered by ARM a long time ago, the Surface RT, it did not sell well, but it was the first Surface and it was ARM powered, interesting to see them returning to ARM powered entry level devices
I was looking to buy myself a Surface Go this year. But since Surface Go 4 is expected to be released this year (2023), do you think it is worth waiting for this product to be launched, or just go with the Surface Go 3 instead?
Hazik, I've been thinking the same thing. I think it would be best to wait for the surface go 4 later this year because it would likely be much faster, have a longer battery life, and (hopefully) a smaller bezel that the actual screen reaches to the edges of the borders like the new MacBooks.
Great analysis video! I really hope the go 4 will have really good drawing experience since the other ones still have that wobbly lines and make more appealing to artist like me since it's really well priced and as u said if it works with slim pen 2 it could be very good and a real steal for artists!
Nice to see you, too! Apologies for the late reply - been so busy these past two weeks returning back home from college. Hope everything's been going well for you!
No, there are pros and cons. ARM allows for much better battery life and 5G connections (for those who need it). A device like this could really use better battery life, and would be the perfect device for it. Apple are having great strides with their ARM processors.
