Watch as our cameras go behind the scenes and follow the team from the Academy of Light to the capital as they headed to the Papa John's Trophy final to take on Tranmere at Wembley.
Christ what a breath of fresh air Lee Johnson is. Best manager we’ve had since Allardyce. Great representative of the club and the players clearly run through brick walls for him. All of this says a lot about Phil Parkinson as well, especially his treatment of Mcgeady who is clearly the best player in the league , despite his age. Hope Parkinson doesn’t get another job in football
Brilliant result today well done to the lads. Yes I know it says I'm a Barrow AFC fan but my family supports Sunderland AFC so I support them too. Sunderland will get promoted C'MON ON THE LADS❤❤⚽️
@@oscarmarley2562 no I get that, I support Liverpool cos my dad does and Sunderland cos my grandad does but I was wondering why barrow of all teams, seems a bit random, no offence
@@blakjjags0697 because i dont like supporting big teams like man city and the others i like supporting small teams like Barrow and Barrow is a team to me that feels like there's hope in life like good times.
I am from Sunderland, and on behalf of the city we welcome you as a member of our suppport!.....I have been to brazil in 2015, and it is the most amazing place I have ever been!

When my beloved Sunderland won the EFL Trophy I cried in happiness because I wanted them to win a trophy since I was born and wanted some of my family members to celebrate with like my nana, Granda, my granda, my uncle and of course my late cousin I miss all them everyday I honour them with my family name on my football shirts I buy
been a fan since 2010, even I'm in Indonesia. Glad to see Sunderland is back to the track, hoping we can stay away from relegation zone and comeback to premier league sooner... #hawaythelads
