Comedian Greg Potocky was the guy in the Bruins jersey. I loved a couple of his videos including this one. In 2014, tragically Greg committed suicide. They say some of the greatest comedians ever struggle with depression, since they want to cheer up others since they don't want anyone to feel the way they do. RIP and God bless.
Damn I didn't realize he passed away. R.I.P Greg, I didn't know you but you brought me happiness with this video. I watched it years ago and watch it every once in a while.
the kicker for me is I was born and raised in Vancouver, I like the Canucks back in the day when the Russian rocket was on point. but I love boston I got lucic jersey signed and his rookie card from the b's when he was a first drafted to the team.

I usually really dislike the Baston Bruins but I do actually like the guy in this clip as he (unlike most Bruins fans) is funny, cheerful and don't hold a grudge against the Canucks fans, many of whom try to smear him but he doesn't give the same back. Big respect to him!
So much respect. That was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity. It really did illuminate some of the most primitive and disgusting behaviour our "developed" society has to offer. You handled it with much poise. Disheartening to see the amount of homophobia and general hate, anger, insecurity and misplaced masculinity. Pretty difficult to be a proud vancouverite these days.

You're right I am from Vancouver and a big fan and I am ashamed of myself but hey when I saw that game I have to give respect to Boston because most of the people here did not start the riot there are only a few idiots who started putting fire everywhere and then everybody else joined in it .if it weren't for those idiots who would've done even if the Canucks won it would've been no way out and it also happened in 1994 in a little bit in 1982 and I may not have proof of those people but I see a lot of people on the skytrain (Vancouver train)on that day but people had matches and gasoline and luckily I was not a part of it because I knew it was wrong and I wasn't stupid enough to go for it but I do have to give props to Boston because it's hockey but I hate the fact that lucic cant even going to his hometown without getting hurt.

I was 1 year old when these finals happened so i dont have any experience with the riot. My dad was there tho and when the game ended he left cuz he knew that fans were gonna riot if the canucks lost😬

it was a pre planned riot from a gang that wanted to loot stores (they were going to "riot" win or lose) and you know people are sheep so they smash a window if they see people doing it too. Not defending what Vancouver did because its awful but ya...

I was at a Stars vs Wild game in Dallas and as much as I hate the Wild I had so much fun talking hockey with these Minnesota fans sitting next to me. We are all fans. I just like talking hockey with anyone
