Took this off the bracelet for a day to wear it on a leather strap and now I have to figure out how to get it back on, the end links are a VERY tight fit. This watch has very thick spring bars and the bracelet is solid as a rock where it meets the case. Good stuff.

I've just bought the new frosty blue version, I see Gnomon will continue to release different colour limited versions, but that is OK with me, I am just afraid I like a future colour version more than the one I bought :)

Thanks for your high-quality review (as always). Good looking watch at a reasonable price. And no problem, that it’s just inspired by Japanese culture and made in China, most parts of the so called Swiss watches are made in China too. But I am not so happy, that Gnomon watches is also going the way of artificial shortage. I’ve got an offer with 10% of as many other customers and of course a few hours later, the “Limited edition of 70 pieces” was sold out. And a few days after all 70 watches are sold out, the watch gets reviewed by some good watch youtubers (I’ve seen it on 2 other good channels). So have our fingers crossed, that they’ll really offer other versions in the near future which are not so “strongly limited”.

Yeah, I actually received this unit before the release but my queue was just too backed up to get it posted before the drop. Details were pretty limited before the release as well. As for artificial shortages, it's tough when you're doing small batch runs, it's a lot of capital to put up, when you're unsure of the initial demand. Hopefully they see the success of this release as a clearer baseline for future runs.

The Yoshino Snowdrift White was offered to ma as a “friend” of Gnomon for USD 384,-. A great price and I’ve just been too slow to pull the trigger. Today they offered the Hitori Yoshino Blossom Signature (Friends Only) - Ltd Ed 50pcs for USD 529,-, and it’s already sold out. Seems the marketing strategy works. And don’t get me wrong I am not bashing them therefore, I am happy if good looking watches are beeing produced. But maybe I am proven wrong and they coming out with another batch of the Yoshino Snowdrift White for USD 384,- and not with an Ltd 30pcs batch for USD 700,- 😉.

@@peterzahradnik9323 Yeah not a fan of the huge price increase between the Snowdrift and Blossom. Maybe that Chromie Squiggly NFT thing adds to the cost, no idea. Gnomon knows they can keep churning these out now after 2 sold out runs. I hope the next isn't so limited and the price doesn't stay at 529.

I don't charge any fees for basic reviews, if someone needs a segment rushed or held to a certain date, sometimes I'll charge for the additional coordination, depending on how much extra trouble it is to accommodate. If someone wants to sponsor a segment to get some type of formal plug, it's not in a direct review format, more like a mention during an indirect segment.
