I blame Philly owners for that. They gained so much income just from A.I. and did not spend any $$ from their cap. With Grandpa Old Mutombo Iverson was the only person to play. Couldn't agree more. He always played 1v5. No one could've guard him if he had a buddy who could play. Imagine clubbing all night and drinking, not practicing and still becoming an MVP. If he worked hard like MJ, Kobe or LeBron he would be The GOAT

Not people that I know. Maybe mainstream. The people who started looking at him differently were likely the same people who looked at him differently after being charge for the brawl in high school and thought that he was a menace and didn’t think that he should be able to play in college as a result of it.
