This really felt like an ESPN 30 for 30. Shot and executed to perfection... The story and comeback blew me away. Can't wait for more captivating stories surrounding the disk golf world like this one.
Love the Mandujanos, and what a beautiful documentary and comeback!! Valerie and Alexis were a really important motivation and inspiration when I first started out, and still is!! 💪💪
Great to have VM back and healthy and kicking butt already! Great documentary- we’ll done and enjoyed the “peak” behind the scenes. Keep battling and taking over the FPO Mandujano sisters!
And then she DID win at Idlewild! Maybe that will be part 2. Great documentary and that 20 feet from hole 11 to 12 at Hillside is the worst! So great to see all three of you excelling and growing as people! You make San Antonio proud!
Love this. It gave me so much inspiration to play better. Now I just want to go out annihilate my next tournament. Glad you’re back up and playing again Valerie. Love watching you and your sis play. ✌🏼
What an incredible piece from On Tour, as KyleCrouch3801 said. Valerie is already such captivating person and player. And this storytelling only adds to that. And fantastic interview snippets with Mason, Brian, Ian, Terry and others. Incredible piece about an incredible person. The final running sequence is just stunning.
Wow i can relate with soo much with this.I've been playing a long time but about a year and a half ago i finally got competitive was doing league and tourneys pulled a muscle forehanding and had to backhand everything for about 3 weeks of league which was a challenge then my dad passed its the hardest thing I've ever faced after that i really put the focus in and worked nonstop i signed up for a tourney and took down my first win .What a journey still sad my dad never got to see me win but i have the support of my family and my disc golf family disc golf is my life and has gave me more than i could have imagined and i'm extremly grateful i found this wonderful sport.
You definitely have a new fan bring tears to my eyes seeing how much you love Disco golf I'm so happy to see you come back and beat Paige Pierce LOL❤❤❤❤❤ good luck with the ankle don't think about it so much I broke my left and go
Always liked Valerie, after this, I absolutely love her! Great video, goosebumps when you see she is on the card with KT, plus of course, quality comment from KT. Well done everyone involved in this.
Well done documentary, just wish they would have snuck in a still shot at the end of her holding the Idlewild trophy up, I'm sure this was completed well before that, but timing would have been epic!
Never a more true statement - "Disc Golf is a part of me". I am a mediocre amateur at best, and have been for over 40 years. Disc Golf is part of who I am, and will be until I die. At this point in my life, I feel blessed every time I get to play disc golf. It doesn't really matter how good I am, just that I am able to play. It's a love that will never leave me, just like my savior Jesus.
For some reason the background music is much louder than the people speaking. Very hard to hear what Terry and Brian are saying while the music is playing. It's weird. The music should be lowered while they speak
