Nice video thanks for helping. I just rebuilt an own generator 4K. Runs great and I have the remote start. I hooked that up from watching your video. Thank you ! I am trying to get the light and the and the hr. tack to work. I’m having a hard time trying to figure that out. It’s an old-school one from the 70s. I’m not sure if the tachometer and light hook up to the switch and then from the switch to the generator to 5 and 6? Any help would be appreciated, brother!
Nice. Tractor supply has a wireless remote 12v 20 amp controller works about 50ft. $30 near farm sprayer stuff. Gonna try that one. I have same old onan fixing now.Good old rig.Thanks.
I would surface mount a receptacle on the generator to plug my cord into and on the other end put a plug coming out of my switch box to plug into my good extension cord. My cord would still be good and I could unplug it from the generator to get it out of the way. And, I could go more than 100 ft If I wanted to.
That would come in really handy for boating or camping. Put the genny yards away, cut down the noise. Ok might have the chain it to a tree or something.
momentary double pole double throw switch, the light part is optional, it lights when Gen is running, anybody with decent hearing won't need a light on to know their Generator is running oops...seeing this ??? is 2 years old...but I've already typed...so fukit...posting!!!
got one that the electric fuel pump wants to always run. I put the 2 fuse in and electric fuel pump runs regardless of pushing any buttons. got and idea?
ShawnMrFixitlee after doing some backtracking on what my friend done , I found that he had changed the solenoid and the one he bought was the wrong one. The grounding was all wrong. Thanks for the Reply
