What a pleasure to see, once again, the best driver in history, onboard on a gem of museum, the most beautiful machine that conquered routes, paths and even the nothing itself. What a show of skill, love for your little beast, and of course, love for rally. Many thanks for the video! Loeb and his C4 FOR LIFE!
Yes because normal cars braking systems have vacuum servo, which means that the pedal is influenced by the engine therefore if you are full throttle, the brake pedal will be light, if you are off throttle the brake pedal will be very sensitive.
@@razor23ism No, it's just a matter of practice. At first a driver is likely to engage the brake like it's a clutch and the kiss the windscreen but with practice they can LFB effectively.
@@skaldlouiscyphre2453 Exactly This. You just need to practice until your left foot is "educated" to the brake pedal. Same thing would happen if you took an uneducated left foot and tried to use it on the throttle...
@@ceyhunarican1637 Tell Tommi Makinen and Carlos Sainz. The fact that McRae only won one Championship in an era of greats means he really wasn't the absolute best even then. Tommi Makinen and Carlos Sainz won more in the same era. It's also not like he didn't have a strong manufacturer backing him at the time too.
Matheus Garbellotto as I have told before, they have clutch but they use it only when starting to stage and sometimes in hairpins. Not for gear change. But clutch pedal is there. Find some photos of C4 wrc interior and you will see there are 2 big pedals (brake and throttle) and one small pedal on left side-clutch.
I can see it in the video as well, but I don't understand the thing holding throttle while gearbox switching gears, maybe you can enlight me, thanks. @@pontifsulyvan623
Regarde le passager. Sans les sangles il traverse le pare brise...il freine ou accélère , jamais un seul temps mort, il n’utilise jamais le frein moteur. Le truc c’est qu’il est absolument détendu. Bravo Monsieur Loeb!!!
What's goin'on under his brake pedal... i wonder....... something seems strange... something tells me that he controls brakes separately (left/right side)to make the car turn sharper.. am i insane?
it's a paddle shifter, full manual. Doing away with pesky things like clutch control and a shifting knob farther from the steering wheel, allowing maximum shift control with the benefits of shifting speed like an automatic.
le falta poner aire acondicionado,o la calefaccion sintonizar la radio , cambiar de emisora,,, poner un casette, porque seguro que le daria tiempo.😂😂😂 que crack
That C4 is a piece of history. Do you really think this car can't be secure in some Citroen's vault in some secret place IN France? Apart of that, Loeb looks older like in these days, so yeah this is 2018, I think.
Loeb Is like 0.. Sorry but Kankkunen Is Absolutely the best of all time not Loeb that win without competitors, with an out of shape co-driver and only for Citroen.. KKK win in gr B gr A First wrc and (modern wrc Subaru padle shift argentina and Finland 99) all this with makinen rohrl McRae Sainz Biasion panizzi burns mikkola Salonen Auriol Vatanen Alen Blonqvist like competitors.. not villagra Duval Wilson rautenback gardemaister as loeb had, they were not fast drivers. Somebody rember a strong opponent for Loeb ? Ok Gronholm, and then ??? nobody else..consider that hirvonen was not a great driver, that gronholm retired in 2007 and ran with the 307 wrc which was the worst car in history, that solberg ran with the subaru that from 2004 onwards has never been competitive .. and that the rest were mediocre drivers like duval, wilson ecc. Better 4 very strong titles that 9 Easy and weak titles. Put Loeb in the 80 or 90 years.. maybe he win an handshake but not for sure 9 titles. .. did he win in rallycross? NO (Solberg win 2 time), did dakar win? no, (Kankkunen win the 88 Dakar) returning to the wrc did he win? no, he win in the wtcc ? No, because he has found real opponents, Rohrl won the pikes peak on the gravel without electronics beating vatanen, loeb same race on the asphalt with a spaceship against anyone. Evidently he is not so strong. Look Sainz.. 57 years old and win the Dakar 2020.. he win 3 Dakar.. the same was KKK that win Dakar in 1988, for me the best Is kkk but for sure that all drivers of 80 and 90 are Better than loeb, Carlos was the First no scandinavian to win the 1000 lake, he developed Subaru Ford Toyota polo wrc and Peugeot and mini for the Dakar, Loeb drive only for Citroen, with cars full of electronics easier to drive, sainz won with the H gearbox. Its all logical Loeb Is not the best. the 9 titles were clearly won without opponents, the subaru after 2003 was no longer competitive, gronholm retired in 2007 and in 2004/05 he ran with the 307 which is the worst wrc in history .. ogier sent away by Citroen because was a good opponent ..sorry but the rankings don't lie, just look at the top 6 drivers of the rankings of those years, any wrc race from 2005 to 2012 if you find a strong driver and opponent for Loeb let us know. an example ? in the 98 wrc races there were at least 4 or 5 world champions who ran for the victory and the future burns and gronholm champions. in 2008 who was there? who was there ???!!
