The Toyota GT One racing on Le Mans. Hitting over 334 kph (208mph). Engine: 3.6 Liter twin-turbo charged V8 putting out 600hp Driver: François Perrodo Car prepared by JMB Classic: / @jmbclassic3599 www.robbertalblas.nl
@@fortheloveofcake93sadly the regulations changed before the F50 GT came to be and the project was sadly canned. It was said to be faster around fiorano than the 333 😳. Absolute monster
You definitely know what car enthusiasts are after. High quality video and even more importantly, high quality sound with no annoying music overlayed. We just want to imagine what it’s like to be in cars we will never have the privilege to drive. This is awesome.
Followed you since the 930 turbo always impressed with the photography and the audio quality ,but now … now thats a childhood dream right there seeing glimpse of this car was already hard enough since the end of its career at lemans , and onboards even less. Until today when i had this notification i was euphoric about it So after i watched it i was so thankful for the works you put on this channel and keep up the good work
The late 90/early 2000 vibe at night with the big old green backlight LCD and the bright speedo/rpm cluster is just out of this world. It's clearly a big contrast with the futuristic look of this car, almost spaceship like, with the smoothness of this V8, pure work of art. It's been a pleasure to see this car on track at LMC this year.😍
I remember finally getting the ‘98 model with the funky livery on Gran Turismo 2. Too bad I’m a 2000s kid and never had the chance to grow up watching GTP/Le Mans during this era 😔
if you're a 2000's kid u got to see the new era of GT1 with the Maserati MC12, the Saleen GT1, the Stealth B6 GT1, the Ultima GT1, the Bentley Speed 8 and the list goes on. Not too bad my friend. The 2000s was not so different from the late 90s. For me the 2000s era started in 1998. Same types of cars, music, sports and culture.
Seeing this Legend Racing alongside not just one but TWO Judd Pescarlo LMP900 Cars is just AMAZING, you really could not ask for much more as someone who was a huge fan of Gran Turismo 4. And to think that this is near enough IDENTICAL to the ROAD CAR variant with which it's name is shared, BEAUTIFUL!
Robbert and Fanch is the crossover that I could only ever dream of but I guess this proves that dreams do come true. Unreal footage, unreal event. Thank you for everything, I can't wait to see what follows this!
Epic! Back in the day I used to think this V8 revved to like 11-12k rpm...only after many years I realized that wasn't the case. I already consider this video as historical. 🍷🗿 Thank you!
balls of steel love the fact thats this guys used cars full no mater the price! thanks to owners of all this awesome cars on this channel and you for gr8 videography
I was at LeMans Classic, it was just amazing to see all this old cars and legend, really great video of this Toyota, really like it to see from inside the car 😍👏🏻
All your videos are incredible but sweet Jesus the quality, POV, lighting, sound, intensity of this one in particular.... This is nothing less than cinematic quality. Keep it up. Hope you get hired for consulting work on all these new Hollywood racing movies being produced, you deserve it. Can't thank you enough for your work and the incredibly legendary racing machinery you to bring to life through the screen. Out of curiosity, what kind of camera and lens do you use? The ability to capture the perfect lighting for full interior details & exterior is stunning.
The onboard is fantastic! The car is legend. I remember watching these on the TV broadcast of the 24 hours. I was cheering for them to win. Unfortunately they just didn't have any luck.
There should be a requirement that Hollywood studios should have to hire or consult you for racing cinematography in movies. Simply stunning and captures the speed so well.
Gran Turismo 2 made me fall in love with this car in 1999. I went back and watched that 99 Le Mans race during the Audi domination a few years later and it cemented this car as probably favorite prototype car of all time. Even though it didn't win, it left a huge impression on me and always makes me smile when i see vids of it and race the Toyama 2Zero mod on Assetto Corsa which has the sound perfect on the game.
What a beast!!! It's the first LMP car ever made for win Le Mans in my opinion! Incredible car and what a fantastic livery!!! Absolutely Iconic and timeless!!! ⚪🔴
I always thought the car ran a tuned 1UZ-FE but it runs a 3.6L engine specifically designed for racing. Still love it, and for me it's the most visually complete racecar; you love it because it's both purposeful AND beautiful (just look at that curve going from the front bumper to the rear wing, MMMmmm, and the way the cabin falls down to the rear bumper is just 🤌🤌).
Dispite this car has been built in 1998 it still can compete on LMP1 of 2000-2007. This GT-1 is ahead of its time from aerodynamic to performance aswell.
I donr know how do you manage to get your hands on this footage BUT THANKS A LOT! I dream when day comes Toyota remade this absolute monster as an track only weapon "production" hypercar I don't know what are they waiting for to entering that league, they have it all...just imagine GT One Mark ll 800hp to 1000hp Pure combustion Same design with minimal aero update Same with gearbox Limited to 100 units...they will sell them in blink (Sorry my English)
The good old GT1 times. After that, there was nothing but boredom for years! But since the HY class like Le Mans has been around, how very interesting!
This is the only car GT didn’t add yet and like this is the car that Keichi Tsuchiya drove especially the Honda HSV 010 Honestly this is a dream i never thought of since this is one of my favorite racing cars and getting footage is super duper rare to come by
