Once Human: 5 ESSENTIAL Tips for New Players on LAUNCH DAY! 

Hi all! This is technically a re-upload. The old version of this video talked about the Battle Pass and the developers would like me to hold off discussing that until after launch, so I've swapped the Battle Pass tip with another one in this video!

1. Dont craft anything right off the bat. Save ur resources. 2. I suggest crafting the 2 sets with gathering speed. 1 that needs 4 pc to get the gathering speed bonus and 1 that needs 2 pc. Use those 2 sets for almost 1.5x gathering speed. 3. Loot everything, dont be a lazy B go grab that loot. Youll never know when u ran out of those things. 4. Dont build ur base yet especially in the first area of the map. Just build flooring platforms and work stations. You will have to move your base in no time. 5. Speaking of building bases, dont build ur base on a wall or any weird looking structures. Coz when u start moving ur base your gonna have a rough time adjusting. Build on flat and wide areas so u wont have a hard time relocating. The bigger ur base the harder to relocate. 6. Raid every strongholds in the map, every mystery chest contains a gear blueprint. 7. Make sure to check Achievment Journal and events u dont want to miss anything. 8. Hunt deers early in the game for Hides. Stock up a decent amount so u dont have to hunt for long distances when u need them and cant find any deers. Deers are abundant in first area of map. 9. Gather every food berries fruit u can get and dont worry about spoiling them. Ud actually need spoiled food when u start planting crops. 10. When u see a purple floating thing kind of a hologram go grab it. U are meant to grab that and more if it spawns in other areas (usually more than 1 of those things) until it spawns a chest for hidden rewards. 11. Save your bullets early. Craft crossbow and stick with them for a long while. Melee is also ur friend in early game. 12. When u see abandoned cars on the road check the trunks for fuels. Get every fuel u can find u will need LOTS. 13. Start killing zombies and loot a lot of acid. Theyre mainly used to craft bullets end game. U get what i mean. 14. Join a Hive (mini club/guild consists of only 4 people) early in the game for extra perks. 15. Dont upgrade weapons early to mid game. Let other parties carry u in boss raids or help each other in boss raids. Save those upgrading materials for late game weapons. 16. You can reset ur skill/crafting tree anytime but u will only be refunded 70% of the currency u spent. U will still get 100% of the skill points back. Just saying it out here coz i was a little bit confused about which one is 70%. Lol

My big tip is to focus on the crossbow in the beginning! You can make ammo easy and when you shoot, you can pick up the arrows from the dead body's. Aim for the head and it is pretty much a 1hit kill. Works good in the first few boss fights too It will be the best weapon you can have, for the first area you start in and even after, as you unlock better versions.

Only one more day! This is going to be fun!

They changed character creation. All body proportions now affect your character weight. Just made my first character and tested it myself.

i am not played all of the beta test sadly, but i've played the demo versions quite a lot. maybe a tips from me is: 1. this game is better play with 3 or 4 peoples or better more and have them join in your hive and make a one big house for everyone to live there. 2. addressing to point above, with your friends all in the same hive i think it's better to share your memetics tree and give each other roles for example: you focused on infrastructure tree, your other friend focused on crafting and the other on something else, maybe you get the my point. 3. find a place to build a house near water source or mountain, beacuse those place always have the crucial item for crafting material that always spawn such as ores and trees. 4. get yourself an early deviant which in particular digby boy and logging beaver because those guys can save you a lot of time with their passive ability to gather trees and ores (sometimes digby boy can carry rare ores if your house near those rare ores). 5. this game always have hidden puzzle like jumping puzzle or align something (usually a picture) so make sure to pay attention to your surrounding because finishing those puzzle grants you instant prize and increase your exp. 6. in tutorial house, dont rush to fight the siren in tutorial sequence. just focus on exploring and gathering some material and cutting a lot of trees because those items will helpful and saves you a lot of time and energy when you spawn in the main world. 7. to be honest, it's still much more still things to do if you wanna get overpowered early in this game. me personally when im play in demo version in just level 15 or 20 i already hand my self a sniper with 3k damage. so i think this game is not for some brain dead grinding maniac, i think it's just suited for people who wanted to play and having fun with your friends in hours doing silly things or building your house and just later u destroying it because u dont like the design and occasionally finisihing raid bosses or exploring untouched maps. looking forward to tomorrow release !!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the backpack expansion, I believe it lets you select different teir of metal in the recipe which will increase what the backpack expands to... obviously the first is copper, but higher metal will expand it more (and I assume you have to ditch the lower one since they won't stack)

Ability to re-do character if your in-game and realizing you’re unhappy with how it looks?

One tip (don´t know if they'll change it from the demo), don't calibrate gear and weapons that you pick on the world, they can't be fixed.

Has anyone tried the different body types? So far I have done mid both times. Wanted to try others to see the difference.

Interesting that videos about the battle pass preview seem to be getting pulled, a bit concerning frankly.

Backpack expansions are stackable. Just not with the same quantity. You can stack a +30 with a +20, but cant stack 2x +30.
