Since Sanctuary Woods couldn't get the James Horner score due to clearance issues, they had to settle on an original soundtrack by Darren McGrath instead.
Could you imagine that some parts of the game (i.e. the weasel, snake, frog and fox, the rabbit holes, and the meadow corn delivery) were meant to be the lost 8-10 minutes cut from the original film?
@multirainbowhawk Like I said, the people making this game probably didn't see the movie. Which is weird cause this game came out 2 years after the movie.
@@chloeisiah5043 This is like once upon a forest the sequel and there’s a continuity error here that flap a wing them a thing is actually already invented in the first film so maybe they should’ve had Cornelius invent something else like the flipper floating thing
@@chloeisiah5043 Actually, some flowers like daffodils, daisies, jonquils, poppies, calendulas, dandelions, roses, hydrangeas, irises, lillies, and plants like peppermint, geranium, vanilla, lavender, frankincense, to name a few more are useful herbs 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿, but I'm afraid they won't help Michelle.
I don't know why they changed it for this version, but it hurts the entire story. Cutting that ruins the entire message of the movie, so instead of our heroes embarking on a coming-of-age journey to save a friend who was put in critical condition due to himan carelessness, it's now more like they have to save Michelle from winning a Darwin Award because they were too busy bickering with each other to keep an eye on her. Also it means the construction site sequence comes essentially out of nowhere with no real connection to what's going on.
I believe a scene is missing with a rabbit highway "rush rush rush rush, hurry hurry hurry hurry". Anyway great game, simple control layout and nice voice acting. is there any other good classic point and click with good voice acting?
I actually found out that Phil Hayes did the voice of Cornelius for the game who i know best as the voice of Scratch from the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog
@@ChristopherSobieniak If I did a TV series adaptation of the show, I would wanna audition for the voice of Cornelius myself (as well as others like Wags, Phineas, and Abigail's dad) because character impressions is one of my biggest passions.
Oswald Epic Loquendero It's FM, similar to the Genesis. This was using the Sound Blaster. HUGE improvement over the PC speaker that the CGA games typically used. Well, except for the games that manage good DAC playback on the PC speaker on an 8088 :)
I tried running this game and the characters' speech stutters. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit and DOSBox 0.74. How did you manage to run this game without stuttering speech? What settings did you use during the game installation? If you used DOSBox, what DOSBox settings did you use?
It was in Dosbox. I think I was emulating a SB Pro for this... VGA, 4 megs of system memory, somewhere around 2-3k cycles on the normal core. Those are my defaults for most games of this age.
