Season 7 was underrated. There's no Snow White, Charming or Emma Swan to comfort Regina and she had to deal her own shit. She didn't succumb to the temptation to become evil and powerful again just to defeat Gothel and the gang. For me season 7 is Regina's real redemption.
Season 7 had sone strong episodes, but imo they should have done a better job with 7B, because the Candy Killer arc was really mediocre. I wish the curse ended somewhere between Season 7A and 7B and 7B would feature the battle between the Heroes and the 8 Witches.
When Regina casted the curse in Season 1 she became the mayor but when Drizella casted the curse she was just her mother's assistant and it's so pathetic. She's trying hard to be "in-charge" yet no matter how much dark she can be she can never go beyond The Evil Queen.
I'm pretty sure Drizella wanted it that way. She wanted to make her mother suffer, but she wanted to do it subtly and insidiously, so it was a perfect setup that the curse would fake out Rapunzel to be the Mayor instead of Drizella or Gothel. (Also, since they were casting the curse as a coven, it's quite possible that this version wouldn't have had a clear town leader if Gothel and Drizella hadn't set it up to have Tremaine cast in the role of Mayor.)
I wished Emma Swan was on Once upon a time Season 7 in all of the episodes she would be able to stop Gothol and drizella with Regina and everyone else and she and Regina would be able to cure Henry
Yep, Emma was meant to be a regular character based on the original intentions by the authors, but Jennifer Morrison declined to appear as a regular and only returned to guest.
OR becaus ths is Gothels Manipulatet version of the dark curse ! She in my opinion everything that happend since the pilot was just part ov her complicatet plan ! She wantet tosee teh dark curse cast andwantet to see its weaknesses to basicly outsmart everyone in the end, forgeting that Nomatetr how much you tricks ouw ill forget something! Like just becaus she made sure Henry cant break the curse doesnt eman others cant! Wich is why she made it so that people would be pushed out of the city to live tehr lifes somewear else
I always wanted to see Regina suffer even though she's already forgiven. The final season made it come true and Gothel proved to be a good manipulator without ripping people's hearts. Regina needed to suffer to completely learn and now she became the hero. The evil queen is dead, long live the good queen.
I think magic in once upon a time reflects emotion and the caster’s history. Regina is that blue/purple color, because blue is her favorite color, but I think it reflected her broken heart, then corrupted and made edgy. Zelena is green because of envy, Rumple is red for his wrath and blood lust. I think if I had magic it would be Gold with red under tones
She didn't crush a heart this time, she only sacrificed her blood because the final ingredient for the coven's version of the dark curse was blood from a witch who crushed the heart of the person she loved the most , her father's heart.
@@andreyleary4736 this curse does seem different. It travels back in time, create a neighborhood in a city without anyone noticing while the original curse created a whole town. This curse only needs the blood of someone who all ready cast a curse.
@@signer25 I think Drizella mentioned they needed 8 ingredients and 1 of them was blood of a witch who crushed the heart of the person she loved most, and Regina was the only person who did that and that’s obviously why the coven went after Henry to make sure Regina does what Gothel needed so the curse is cast. I’m curious what the little piece looked like in Seattle before Gothel’s dark curse created the little neighborhood, Storybrooke was basically a forest before it came along from the first curse,
@@andreyleary4736 that make sense. Time travel alone requires 4. Courage heart brain and innocence. They would of been needed for this modified version of the curse
