She was iconic on the show, not to mention she was the most beautiful actress of the show. It's like the casting directors always pick drop dead gorgeous women to play "evil" queens like Angelina Jolie or Charlize Theron.
Agreed. IMO, I think this is the first show that I know of that kind of had the focus shift from the mc, to a secondary character. Heck, I even think it started happening before the actress playing Emma left.
Agreed! The actress made Regina so charismatic and sympathetic. You’re right about the casting, too. Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen may be the only good thing about Disney’s Snow White remake. 👸🏻
“Need I remind you you got your PhD from a curse” babe can you curse me too? Waiting for the results on my PhD proposal is kicking my ass let alone the thesis 😅
*I will not listen to childcare lectures from a man who put his daughter in a box and shipped her to Maine* I fully forgot Regina did David like that and it is absolutely VILE 😭😩 how did he ever come back from that.
you forgot the part where she took maleficent’s daughter’s blood and then said “welcome to storybooke” with the funniest smile on her face before vanishing😂😭😭
i was fully expecting “where you come from people bathe in the river and use pinecones for money” to be in here but this is a solid list! 😂 love regina
I love how despite she is still snarky, sometimes bitter, and always sarcastic, the charmings over time were able to soften Regina’s evil ways and grew on her. Regina was great at the beginning and while I was sad we lost our “evil queen”, I was also happy to see her grow and develop over time too.
“If you bring up my former sims around my son again you’ll find yourselves across that tow line faster then you can say COSTUME JEWELRY” Such an icon cutieeee
"SO I CAN RIP HIS HEART OUT! then he'll do exactly what we want." One of the most funny, horrifying, and whitty remarks she made throughout the video in My opinion especially with that glare at the end.
I SO LOVE REGINA!!! I'm watching this now and this is my comfort show and my escape from the real world 🥺 especially when she asks a child to Rumple and he said "I'm not interested" and Regina says "Not like that! I want you to adopt me a child" LMAO that was so funny
Literally the only reason Once was on the map was because of Lana Parilla role as Regina, hence why the final season was even doable when Jennifer, Ginnifer and Josh left after season 6. Regina may have gotten her tukis thrown around by other witches and soreceresses, but man could she at least go down having the final word. Honestly, Regina teaches all of us that no matter how much power we may have, we're not perfect or evil, and no matter what we can always try and be better each day...but sometimes you have to throw some fireballs every now and then, and that's just okay.
Me too, I couldn’t Stand Emma, I know Regina was mean but when you know her story you can empathize but Emma was so bland! Always claiming to be Harry’s mother but never raised him for a day…
have not been motivated in the fandom these past few months but this video made me laugh so hard I remember how much I miss regina and sq, thank you for doing god's work 🧎♀🧎♀ *heads to ao3*
I love this show so much, I wish it had just a smidgeon of cohesiveness so I could make it through it XD Just a smidgeon, I love it as a wonderful hot mess, I just can't follow the plot one bit.
"I want to know one thing... As we know, the residents of Storybrooke can't leave it, nor can anyone from the outside enter. So how did Regina go to Boston? And Sidney too? While Rumpelstiltskin couldn't go to search for his son until Emma broke the curse?"
Ok, don’t kill me BUT I actually hated Emma and loved Regina! She had the best story/background/Grow and even when evil I knew she loved her son, and when she thought about giving him back ( at the time of the adoption) but said: “he is my son” and took him back, it showed. But Emma always claiming Harry was her son when she didn’t raised him for a day and gave him up for adoption didn’t sit well for me. The adoption was legal so she could have been more calm about the all situation. Also the way she acted like HER story was the most sad was tiresome, everyone had a sad/cruel backstory! But everyone was walking on eggshells not to hurt HER feelings!! At the end I couldn’t stand her anymore and started to like Regina more.
The only time I liked Emma was when she was with friends with Regina and also Friends with Elsa other than that she’s moody and annoying and stupid. Regina made most characters more tolerable.
