I agree for the children of robin, roland had already lost his mother and the died of his father has been a great pain for him too,and although her daughter robyn never knew her, she has must have suffered from never having met him
I’m crying every single time I see this scene I miss Robin so much he never got the chance to see his daughter grew up or even have a future with Regina but I’m glad he came back if only it was only a little scene it was worth it all in every way and she will always love him no matter what!!!!!!
I still say Zeus should have been able to bring back both Hook and Robin from the dead. Don't get me wrong I liked Hook but Robin was more of a hero than Hook was just saying.
Alana Fowler he could’ve but I don’t know because if hades was telling the truth which I don’t think he was then Robins soul was obliterated so I don’t think there was a way for him to come back
IT’S NOT FAIR ROBIN OUR STORY WAS SO SHORT and then he says this and he is so right about this in every word: DOESN’T MAKE IT LESS EPIC and then she kiss him for the last time so sad and heartbreaking 😭😭💔💔😍😍
They fully could’ve brought him back somehow, any way, even for the last episode. Regina did get a happy ending, but she didn’t have everything she wanted. Snow had her prince, Henry had his love, Emma with Hook, even Belle and Rumple had their time for crying out loud! And the writers brought back Robin for not even 3 MINUTES. At least bring him back for the last episode to give these two a happy ending geez. But Regina doesn’t have anyone now, to be her true love. So really, she got a happy ending, but not her happiest ending. She won’t ever move on from Robin. And if the roles were reversed he wouldn’t move on from her.
"She got a happy ending, but not her happiest ending" OMG thank you for brillantly putting in words what i've been thinking about this whole time, but wasn't sure how to describe.
@@lawrence865 I liked the ending they gave her. How many of get the happy ending exactly as we pictured it? Love is a part of fairytales, but it's nice to see a least one character not needing a man/partner to be part of that happiness.
Sometimes getting the prince is not a happy ending for everyone, the happy ending for Regina is to be queen again, be accepted by the ones she loves and hurt in the past
here is my opinion about the lovers that Regina has had in her life daniel: it was his first love they were cute together but cora destroyed everything graham: she manipulated him and it was a puppet and she killed him under the eyes of emma Robin: It was her true love and she had found her balance dr facilier: I did not believe in this love
To be fair I don’t think Facilier was ever love. It was more lust. Same with Graham, though that also had an element of power to it in the sense that Regina used him to show how much she could control a person to do whatever she wanted. As for Daniel, they were cute together and while I don’t doubt that she loved him, he wasn’t Regina’s soulmate. Robin was. Robin was the one Regina truly loved and she probably always will. Outlaw Queen definitely deserved better than the ending they got.
I noticed that she was thinking about Robin .. Robin spirit came to her in the dream and not Daniel nor anybody else.. Robin is her SOULMATE... meant for her ...robin was there for Regina in spirit and not Marian ... Robin and Regina are TRUE SOULMATES
To all commenters. Yes this was quite sad, yes season 7 was a pile of crap that didn't measure up and this scene made it worth it. But I think that we need to remember that a happy ending is not just about being with the person you love, that was not Regina's Happy Ending. Her happy ending was a second chance at life, and she got it. She lost Robin but got so much more in return. She made peace with the worst version of herself (literally), she got a real family who loves her in spite of all she has done, she got her sister back and a niece as a bonus (so a part of Robin was still there in person), she got to see her son fall in love and now has a granddaughter that she can watch grow. While losing Robin was painful, it showed how strong she has become that she will not be pulled to darkness again.
My heart breaks every time I watch scenes with Robin because all I can think about is how he died. Hades made sure he wouldn’t exist in the underworld or in the heavens by killing his spirit so no one could bring him back. It was the hardest OUAT death I’ve ever watched and cried the hardest over. It was just so unfair!!! And then they show this!!!! I’m allergic to feels!!!!
I feel her pain. I lost the love of my life almost 2 years ago in a car crash. This resonated with me so much as I know my beloved is still with me even though I can’t see him or be with him.
Rewatched OUAT again, Regina deserved so much more. I'm really rooting for her happiness with Robin and so unfair to see her without partner. I wish at least they make a sequel but for Regina only😢
My sister and i stopped watching at the midway point of season 7. We came back just to watch the finale. When this scene ended she said "that was too short". I couldn't help but reply, "but that doesn't make it any less epic ".
Y'know you can fault season 7 for a great number of things, but (personally) i cant fault the acting (most of the time). The plot and writing was..interesting...but this show still had the ability to make the audience laugh and cry, and bring them to a different world, which is imo what a show should do.
I will say this, in all fairness season 7 wasn't meant to be the final season, it was meant be a continuation of being a sequel in a way but when they got the news it was too be the final season, they scrapped ALOT that's why Dr. Facilier just died despite the build up
Maybe I can accept Neal's death, because Emma found happiness with Killian, but Robin is Regina's true love and he shouldn't be dead. Since the first time I've watched this wonderful series, a lot of years ago, I've convinced myself he'll be brought back someway😢❤
its not fair just as regina said they story was so short and epic they deserved moreeeeeeeeeeeee why a magic world why couldnt they find a way to bring robin back whyyyyyyyyyyyy she found her soulmate only to lose him its not fair
I promised My self I would not cry but I cried watching this Regina needed Robin dieing was hard on Regina because he was her true love and she literally lost her first love as a teenager and then lost Robin as well I felt bad for her she lost two of her 💘 to 😭💔
me too I was sad for her, when she lost daniel (her first love) at because of cora, she has suffered for years and became evil queen, and years later she has adopted henry and started to become again happy, and after , robin is entered his life and his happiness was complete, but robin was killed by hades, and regina has hard overcome his death, but has succeeded
Oh my god, that red one is also the same thing in the animation movie. But it's too sad if he couldn't see his daughter growing up that time. Since she was raised by her mother.
Dunno if anyone will ever see this comment, but thought some OutlawQueen fans would be satisfied with knowing this little fun fact: Robin and Regina never said "I love you" to each other, though many fans have found bits where they took that as having them declare their love for each other (let's be honest, even if you are more towards Snowing, Captain Swan or Rumbelle, it is clear who got the short end of the stick, as Regina and Robin did have a shorter love stories than the rest of the main couples), and since Sean knew that he whispered in Lana's ear "I love you" so he would be able to end their characters relationship with an "I love you". Now since the scene should have been longer (you can read the script for the longer scene between them), I'm guessing the whispering in the ear would happen there, as I'm not sure where it would have been possible in the scene we got (unless it happens when the camera is not filming on them, because they did do a lot of takes as one does)
Because their story is so short and sad, but this dream/visit it also gives me hope. The feather, she couldn't have conjured it herself with her magic taken away at that moment. Only way she could have gotten it was if he had actually given it to her. So he wasn't destroyed, he's in a good place, and he'll be there waiting for her. Like Belle waited for Rumple.
OK OK OK - in defense of the writers - they wanted to show that a happy ending doesn't automatically mean you need romantic love - which honestly I think is a good message
Nah. Literally every single main character, hero or former villain, got their romantic TL by their side. Regina's whole story started off and the feud with Snow White is over the loss of romantic TL. S3 introduced the hope & second chances shtick with Robin as her soulmate. They completely retconed it because the show put Zelena on as a regular for s5 & got rid of Robin Hood. It's lame that they tried to back pedal and use the excuse that happy endings don't have to include romantic love. If that was true, Regina wouldn't have been the only one yet she is, lol! Snowing; have Emma then baby Neil. David is resurrected with the split heart CaptainSwan; have Henry & Baby Hope. Hook is killed but gets a resurrection from the Underworld via. Zeus. Rumbelle; have baby Gideon. Rumple gets a resurrection. Rumple & Belle are reunited in the afterlife. Adult Henry; TL is Cinderella 2.0, they have Lucy Zelena; s7 finance Chad; has daughter Robin. Even Minor characters such as Phiip & Aurora & Cinderella & her prince are with their TL and have babies Philip Jr. & Alexandra. Malificent is reunited with daughter Lily & Zorro, the dad? Ruby & Dorothy also Alice & Robyn? But righttttt .... For OutlawQueen let's: give Robin Hood a baby via. Regina's sister, kill Robin Hood off but not only kill him, obliterate his soul to make it extra miserable, then throw Regina some line about how Robin Hood isn't her happy ending only a part of it blah blah blah. That acknowledgement would have been fine if it hadn't been for Robin's annihilation out of Regina's life but it was so obvious it was used to excuse getting rid of Robin Hood. I stand by the others who think Regina got ripped off in the happy endings department because she did. Everyone else has their romantic TL by their side.
It so UNFAIR. Why to do it so for her? (and him, by the way) She deserved to be happy, she deserved to be with her True Love. Just 😭😭😭 I don't know why they did it like that with her love line. Hate it
I loved Regina and Robin so good together they writers fucked up her story and only focus and Snow White and Emma . They shouldn’t have killed Robin she got her second love chance after all and they destroyed all Regina ever wanted was love and happiness . The writers are just awful I wish they make a new version but never going to happen.
Am confused the thing hades killed robin with was that not ment to destroy his soul so was Regina dreaming or was that the actual Robin Hood and some how him sacrificed himself for true love did not destroy his soul and he was able to move on
I think this scene was meant to confirm that Hades was wrong. The Olympian crystal did not destroy Robin Hood's soul but I do think it obliterated him. Look at the difference in how Hades & Robin Hood departed. Hades like exploded & faded to dust; Robin Hood left his body and then faded away. In this scene, Regina wakes up with the feather in hand because he really gave it to her. ❤
for be honest, when regina was evil queen, I may have wanted that she and facilier to be together, but now, regina is nice and I absolutely did not approve their relationship in the season 7
Well I dont know if its considered cheating if he is dead? Regina mustve never thought shed see Faciler again? Some people do make mistakes like Rumple and the Evil Queen? Id hardly call Facilerina a relationship
