@@thedusty194 good job for saying that because it’s not weird and snow was bout to cry when Emma said to snow I appreciate you trying to be parents were the same age and I didn’t grow up in fairytale land but it’s not her parents fault because they were saving her from a curse so she can broke the curse she has magic and she’s the savior and she hasn’t forgiven her parents either for giving her up because she tried with the map only her can do it and she hasn’t forgiven for them both because she said something that she doesn’t mean but when snow told Emma to talk to me and Emma was focus on saving Henry and Emma is an orphan that’s what she said and the map work and her mother said now we can change it that’s so sweet for saying that to Emma
This scene really defines them as people with fundamentally different experiences. Snow and Charming had dark moments in their lives, but overall they had people that loved them in a world that was generally good. Emma grew up in a horrible place and learned that the world isn't fair and easy. They've never really understood how bad it was, and this scene really showed that.
Emma :your lives...they...they sucked!!! Charming : No, we've found *you*. That's enough for them, isn't it? All the horrible things that happened to them ever since they got their memories back don't matter because they have their little girl back :') IMO, Snowand Charming do have more experience than Emma where magic is concerned. I feel like she has this weird idea that her parents' lives were easy cause they're from the Fairytale land. Well all know it wasn't. I hope she'll realize this too.

IKR. Her parents never really understand how hard her life was and she has no one. At least when her parents have problems they were always some people who had their backs. Emma has no one and her parents never understand that.
@@93King well what do you expect with the life she has. She has no one in her entire life before Henry came to visit her. Neal came into her life, made her happy but left a very bitter, hurtful feeling to her when he betrayed and abandoned her.

You make some good points. Charming needs more one-on-one time with Emma to really make a connection. I think that Emma forgave her parents for what they did, but they still really don't understand how bad she had it as a child, and left scars that don't heal that easily. Until they learn and appreciate that problem more, there will always be anger on Emma's part.
Emma is so right. Ik it was tough but Emma grew up all alone. Maybe David and Mary Margaret's lives were pretty bad but they had eachother so it doesnt even compare. She has every right to be mad and every right to live her life without them in it. And ik that sounds bad but... Still they don't really have the right to act all parent-like and optimistic to her when she went through hell. They had the opportunity to be with her after the curse but they didnt take it cause of some sense that they somehow owed something to the others when in reality, the only person they owed anything to was their little girl. Emma has every right to be angry and every right to leave them behind and never look back. Im with Emma all the way.

Exactly Snow knows better than anyone what happens if she looses faith. Thinking that was exactly what happened before she killed Cora. And we all know how that end up.
I do agree with Emma though, they do need to earn their titles and giving advice as parents, but Snow had EARNED that right back in season 2 when they were at the Enchanted Forest. Charming still has to earn his place.
Emma wasn't THERE for any of that, though. They don't need to earn their titles with some faceless god - they have to earn their titles with their daughter. She's the one they have to prove themselves to.
Emma is so right!!!I have been expecting this scene since the day the curse was broken!!!I would love to watch a full discussion between them, where the three of them would express their feelings... Ginnifer Goodwin told in some onterviews that there would be a chance for them to talk while they are in the Jolly Roger, so I hope this wasn't their only chance!!!

well threrve been trough a lot andt they found each other all the time because they had faith so.. they know that everthings will turn up good at the end... and just because they have fauth doesnt mean its they´fault.....
@@LordofFullmetal Snow remembers those years, so it does count-at least for her. He was in a coma for most of it, so he doesn’t really have any more experience.
@Equinox She taught kids for 28 years. You honestly think that meant nothing, curse or no curse? She volunteered in a hospital during that time, and at one point did wake up and try to get back to Emma. Cursed or not, the bad parts of our lives still shape our experience. It's absurd to suggest that it does nothing. And they didn't "literally live the same day or week over and over again." You need a lesson in metaphor. That sequence was to show us that Regina's fabricated reality quickly became dull and repetitive, not that it's some sort of Groundhog's Day type situation. 28 years passed. It was more than 10,000 different days. They might have all resembled one another, but they weren't identical. And Emma wasn't really the catalyst for things starting to change. She advanced it further, but Henry started it, from the moment Regina adopted him. Also, while a string of awful foster homes sucks, it doesn't exactly compare to being raised to run a country, having both your parents murdered by the Mills family, years spent as a bandit, and just generally growing up in a world with magic and the sorts of obstacles they face on these adventures. Of course they have more relavent experience. I understand that Emma would have a hard time considering people who are the same age as her in that light, and I definitely think the Charmings were coming on too strong in the beginning, (although who's to say how any of us would react if we were suddenly reunited with a child who'd been taken from us) but they're still more equipped to go on a magical quest than Emma is at this stage in the show. That much was clear when she and Snow ended up back in the Enchanted Forest.
That´s true and also the age thing. Yes they are somewhat same age but Snow & Charming (well Snow at least) lived the whole 28 years also though stuck in time.
They’re actually not the same age. Her parents lived way more years than her. However, Emma is right to be mad. They’re always so optimistic like dudes give me a break.

Lol. The thing you forget emma is that their lives always kinda sucked. They really only get like 5 minutes of peace before life shits on them more. Like reread their story sis. Their lives are really just a sea of garbage with a few really good moments sprinkled in the mix. They just choose to focus on those moments. She wants to talk about them being the same age but she isn't acting like it. Like you ain't the only one who has been through it, Emma. She doesn't see it because it is still all Disney version fairytales (because real fairytales are kinda dark) to her. I am glad she got her anger and feelings off her chest, but let's not pretend that argument actually made sense or that she is right.

rosaire1995 She didn't do the excact same thing to henry since Henry actually probably did get a better life than he would have gotten if Emma had kept him and Emma could have had a way better life if snow and charming kept her.

in my opinion emma is wrong. she always watches situations by her side. she doesn't understand how hard is to lose your only child immediately when she born. snow and charming are trying hard to be parents, witch emma deserves, but emma pushes away all the time because they still learning and they still aren't ,,perfect" parents. that's right emmas life was really hard, but that isn't all snows and charmings fault, cmon they did the best for emma, they saved her and gave her best chance. apparently that life was emmas best chance because if they didn't send emma in our world, evil queen wouldn't let them to be together, happily ever after. l am on snow and charmings side.l think they don't deserve that from emma. p.s l don't know english well and l'm sorry if l wrote something wrong❤️
