We were all people who were cursed in the witchlight carnival We had a private eye with amnesia, a secret agent cursed to be a hulking tiefling, a steampunker who’s inventions tended to explode, a half-giant who couldn’t yell, a hunter who couldn’t sleep in a home, and a little potion-seller who was a VERY cursed goblin

After months of only seeing reels and clips, I'm finally sitting down to watch the whole campaign. Time to learn how chuckles died before becoming a haunting nightmare

Okay, I have a lot to say about this: For many years, I have never really enjoyed D&D, nor the thought of it, due to the significant amount of steps in creating your character and its unknown world. However, upon watching you guys sit around a table and just enjoy yourselves as you go through your adventure, I realised that the real joy of playing D&D comes from its flexibility; in creating this ever-changing world for your characters to explore. I am very much excited to continue watching and listening to OUAW. I'm glad I got to stumble upon your guys' channel.

The "Gricko being a child" incident reminded me of something that happened in the Pathfinder campaign I'm currently involved in. Our Bard is a goblin. A pink goblin named Gursmf. But his gimmick isn't that he's horny. No. His gimmick is that he doesn't know he's a goblin, and is scared of all monsters. Including goblins. Show him a mirror, he will go "EEP!" and try to hide. So recently, we found out that non-green goblins are an endangered species. So we need to explain to little Gursmf that we need him to make "more little pink people." That's the words of an NPC, not one of the characters. Now, the session before, Gursmf had got an apprentice, a young boy of about eight. Now, since Gursmf isn't aware that he's a goblin, and is a bit unclear on distinctions between races in general... well, not long later after we told him about "needing more little pink people," he proudly presents us his apprentice, now doused in pink paint. Shortly thereafter, we had to clean the boy up, send him home, and give Gursmf "the talk." In the end, our NPC let it slip that there's a yellow goblin with a similar psychological... "condition" that we can set Gursmf up with. So hopefully, we can save the species. But none of them will know that they're goblins.
