I like how you have breathing room in the riff, like letting notes ring out, and the slower section was nice too! So many riffs have just a barage of notes and its nice to see someone not constantly shredding and moving fast, nice work!
Thanks for sharing the video, sounds great! And I like the high end lead parts. I just got a Schecter 9 Damien, plays awesome! Low djent tones are amazing!
The 8th string is already usually same to if not the note lower than a standard bass guitar, so to me the 9th string is simply noise. Very satisfying sounding noise.
Its in B F# B E A D G B E. :) I played a lot in JT's tunings. They are fun. I found that I enjoy a traditional drop tuning for this project. It is easier for me to think melodically. I think JTs tunings make it easier for me to think rhythmically. JT's tunings don't prevent melodic playing at all, but its harder for me to put my ideas that I hear in my head on paper.
@@nathangifford7005 thanks! I took his tuning and somewhat made it my own on a few of my guitars. No matter what pretty much always make the 2nd and 3rd string half a step apart, then a drop tuning on the low 2 strings. (6 string is drop B or drop A#, and 27 inch scale 7 string in drop F or G with the 2nd and third strings half a step away.) On my 8 I am trying drop C on the first 6 then CG for the 7th and 8th. CGCGCFF#D. Mainly use the 7 in the drop F I mentioned.
