I am happy for you that earrings finally fixed the way you like. It’s beautiful! Thanks for sharing the story and VC&A headquarter should watch this video and improve the quality service.
VCA is second to none with gaslighting. I experienced this too with a shipping issue SA and management would lie to my face saying they made no error in my address and called FedEx. Well they had not.. FedEx gave up and called me finally and I got my package. Huge turn off Customer service is way better with Cartier and other luxury retailers
I'm glad that, unfortunately, I'm not the only one experiencing this type of treatment, which means I wasn't out of line. I just wanted what was promised. Thank you for sharing your experience
I had a bad experience at VCA too. Brought a bunch of my pieces in for cleaning in a new store (I moved states) and noticed afterwards that my carnelian pendant had deep scratches in it. The manager of the store was very nice and offered to replace the stone for free, but it took literally 3 months of back and forth with the store where they kept on wanting to charge me for replacing the stone THEY scratched. Thankfully, the store manager really helped me out, but honestly I've had better customer service with Tiffany's and Cartier by far.
Cartier is WAY better! I agree, vca needs a reality check, they are acting like you owe them something EVERY TIME! Oh, I feel so bad for you, makes me so upset :/
Thanks for sharing your experience - what a nightmare! I still can’t believe they made you pay for the replacement MOP. If this happened to me, I would just sell the earrings… it would upset me every time I look at them. This is another reason why I don’t think I will ever buy their stone creations (as stunning as they are) - I only have their solid gold pieces. Would love to see your entire VCA collection one day (only if you’re happy/comfortable to share).
@@SibyllaMirageThat must have been heartbreaking after you’ve spent so much with them throughout the years. Honestly these luxury brands need to reevaluate their customer service cause they can’t keep acting like this and expect to keep loyal customers.
I'm sorry, I know how unpleasant that must have felt... They roll their eyes at me too sometimes. One time I was buying a 10 motif and they had 2, so I was looking at them trying to decide which one to get. And the russian woman sa that was helping me in costa mesa started rolling her eyes first, then breathing heavily, and then started talking to an sa at a different table LOUDLY asking if he can see if her next client came in yet. I couldn't believe it. I was literally buying a car lol and they didn't want to let me examine it (I'm exaggerating, but you get what I mean..) That's why I hate Costa Mesa boutique, they all consider it to be normal there, and noone addressed it with her, all the sas were supportive of her behaviour.
What a nightmare!! I'm glad you finally got your earrings fixed properly. When you refer to local jewelers, are they local Van Cleef jewelers doing repairs or a local jeweler who is not Van Cleef working on your earrings? I would be turned-off from doing business with VCA after this experience too. You did not deserve to be treated that way. Thanks for sharing.
Wow. For what you spend at VCA I expect top service NOT mistreatment! I'm sorry you had this experience, I will definitely think twice before purchasing from them.
Hi!! I’ve been watching all of your videos about VCA. I ended up buying the onyx vintage Alhambra necklace but now I’m second guessing it. I purchased in store. Do you know if I can return or only exchange? I purchased earlier this month!
Hi! Only exchange or store credit. You can only return online orders for a full refund, unfortunately. Onyx is extremely durable and is hard to scratch. You can even wash it (I have a video on that) Don't feel bad, it's a great statement piece
I ended up taking it back to get the 5 Motif in Onyx! I just think it is a great first piece from VCA! Do you have an SA you recommend at South Coast? I haven’t found a great one.
@@Alyssathomas0801 Congrats on the bracelet! Nope, they are very unprofessional there. The south coast vca is actually known to be the rudest, and other vca locations know this, because of constant complains from customers.. Their manager Julia is talking trash behind customers' backs with her employees. I heard them at the next table and was so disgusted. I don't recommend their store at all, unless you want to save on taxes.
@@SibyllaMirage okay thank you!!! Because I was so surprised at how rude the SAs have been. The first SA I worked with in Dallas when I was there for work, he was great but then all of the SAs I’ve spoken with have not been as kind as the one at the Dallas location/my SA at the Cartier at South Coast. I was confused as this is my first VCA piece and I felt like I was bothering them asking them questions about the brand or pieces. I know you shop at the Vegas store, do you recommend that VCA? Might have to plan my next purchase for when I’m visiting Vegas which is so sad because I live 15 mins from the South Coast location
I can’t believe VCA did this to you, now I am scare waiting for my piece 😢. Btw, thanks for letting us know the boutique pls next time if you could, mention the SAs names as well so we do not shop with them.
No worries, I left names out on purpose, because I gave them a benefit of a doubt and hope they learn from this and treat their loyal customers better.
Their reviews are bad across the board. I think it's better to not read them lol. Also, once I left a somewhat negative review, and they removed it, so I'm sure the bad ones you actually get to see are only the tip of the iceberg..
