One of my favorite Gospel song, One day at a time, beautiful Cristy Lane.i am 63 yrs. i had being listening from i was 3yrs. old.

There was a time in my life when my kids and I would listen to music together....when they were young enough to appreciate it. There were two songs that were advertised on TV that caught our attention enough so that we would catch ourselves singing them around the house all the time. One was Flowers on the Wall by the Statlers and the other was One Day at a Time. Every time they played One Day you could hear a tiny squeak in the song that my daughter picked up. So when that song would come out we would automatically provide the squeak and sing along with the song. Just one of those cherished moments I shared with my kids. Till this day we still provide the squeak whenever we hear the song. This beautiful song always meant a lot to us.

Immediately after coming put of the honky tonks on Dec 10, 1985 (cold turkey), I went out and bought her cassette tape, just for this particular song. And there is no telling how many times it has helped me over a hump, and through a rough patch, through the years. It still moves me, to this very day. Thank you Jesus .. and thank you Cristy Lane.

I remember about 30 some years ago when I would visit my grandmother and this song would be playing on her tape recorder. How much my life has changed. As an 11 year old kid I didn’t know the Lord or have that spiritual awakening. I am so thankful that I had a praying grandmother. 15 years ago my life was so empty and I never felt so helpless with my situation as that time. I had my second child and I remember trying to stop drinking, weed, gambling my husband and I were in such a bad place in tons of debt and I remember just a constant cycle of addiction and remorse...One night a few years after my grandmother died I decided to go to her church. That was 15 years ago. My life has been changed forever because of Jesus. It was a process, but today I am drug and alcohol and gambling free. My husband and I are debt free and I owe my everything to Jesus Christ. If you are struggling today and you ask Him for forgiveness and His guidance, His blood will wash you clean and give you a new life. Today is the day of salvation. We only have today and no one knows what tomorrow will bring. I do know one thing for sure. His love is unfailing and He is coming again soon. ❤️ ✝️

Please pray for my family my mother just died. I miss her so. She died on January 12, 2021. She is with Jesus now and I am struggling to clean up her belongings. Grief is a hard pill to take. Thank you Lord for giving me the best mama.

I’m 44. My mama was drowned when I was only 7 years old. I remember she sang this song. Today I have a wife and 2 kids of my own and yes Lord help me to take one day at a time.

I've been singing this song since I was 14 years old. I'm now 46. My mother is in hospice and this has always been her favorite song I sing it to her everyday. It will be played at her funeral!

Now is March 2022, back in 2015 I experienced a vey rough time in my life. I went inside my room locked the door and I kneel and cried to Jesus with all my heart. A few minutes later, I experienced a very comforting hands put around my shoulders and immediately I stopped crying and I felt calm like never before. I looked around no body’s around me. I immediately knew It’s Jesus Christ comforted me. I experienced peace in my mind like never before. The next morning my prayers answered! I thanks Jesus for His mercy. From then on I knew without Him I’m nothing. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for dying for me on the cross.
