Start living, loving, believing and achieving again, believe in Jesus your storm is over. Stop allowing your past to control your future. Don't be pushed by your problems, be led by your dreams. God is with you nothing is impossible to you. Conquering the storm of failure is the key to success, you must prepared to fail before you will succeed. When sudden destruction come do not fear or be troubled. Our hope is anchored in Jesus. He will speak to the chaos around us to cease and command the storm to be still. I just recently found out that my now ex of 16 years, and me raising her 2 kids since they were 5 and 10 and I loved them like my own, she has been cheating on me with the exhusband and father of the kids, who did absolutely nothing for the kids and owed more than 10,000 in child support, and beat her up when she was married to him, and he got remarried and had another kid and beat up the wife and then they got divorced…..and now all of a sudden the kids are 26 and 21 and still living at home, they want daddy now all of a sudden……and the kids are telling him how much they love him, and going over his house and going out drinking with him…..……..and my now ex has been going over his house and this Isn’t the first time she’s cheated on me….I always thought things would get better…..I saw text messages where the daughter is telling him she wishes that the mother and him were together, and the mother was telling her to tell him that she wanted to meet him for coffee and how much she loved and missed him…..and now the daughter who I raised refers me to He!!!!!! She used to call me papa and that was her decision and I always told them I wasn’t the father and I followed the rules and thought I was doing everything right…..My ex has me blocked on her phone so I can’t call or text her…….Now remember we’re all living under the same roof right now…..She texts all day and hides her phone….Obviously I know who it is……Now this going on for the last month and me saving money and looking for a new place to live, the kids both told me to f-off and they don’t even acknowledge me, they walk by me in the house like I’m a stranger on the street…..I’m the one who raised and protected and loved them like my own for 16 years…..…..My laundry is next to the basket in the bathroom on the floor, because I have to do my own laundry now, I used to do the laundry anyhow, but she said my laundry can’t be in the basket…..She also came out and told me that first loves never die…..Because I guess it was him…..And I found out that he’s moving out of his mothers house and in with her and the kids when I move out………..when I leave on October 1st…..So he’s gonna be sleeping in my bed…….I’m not claiming to be perfect, believe me I was far from it……it never went farther than name calling when me and her argued when I found out she was cheating in the past…..There’s so much more I could tell you and I’m sorry if I’m bothering you, but I just wanted to tell you a little bit on what’s going on in my life because you seem like a very positive person and I’m not gonna lie, I’m very depressed and I need to hear something positive and you seem like you know what your talking about…..I’m trying to stay positive, but it’s very hard……I don’t know if I will ever trust another woman again…..I’m 46 years old and I just want your opinion if you don’t mind and I would like to know what you would do if you were in this situation……thank you for your time…

@@michaelvalentino3334 hi Michael- thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your experience with me. I’m sorry to hear that you are going through this, and I know it sucks. It sounds to me like you have done amazing things as a stepfather and partner. We pour our hearts out to people because we love them, but they don’t love us back as hard. Remember this, you will never be good enough for the wrong person not matter how much you do. This is going to hurt for awhile because you have spent the last 16 years of your life loving this person and her kids. Take time to heal and process everything. Know that you stepped in and raised children that wasn’t yours and that takes a standup man to do that. They will remember what you have done for them even if they don’t show it now. Grass seems to be greener on the other side until people walk over there. You deserve better and the next person will be blessed to have you. Take this time to focus on you and healing from this hurt and betrayal. Know that you have done everything you needed to do to be the best you could for them.

I love the encouragement here. We're a fast-paced society that wants progress overnight, and despite how unlikely that is it never fails to be discouraging. Our company has been creating Christian content for over a year now, including a Christian sitcom series, a faith-based podcast, and a Christmas feature film. It's been so hard to fight discouragement as each project piles up and falls behind, and something I've been telling myself every day now is "what's the most you can do today?" and moving forward one day at a time. Thanks for the Godly motivation!

Being positive is good, we also need to remember that Our Father, Our Redeemer and Our Helper are working in true believers lives all the time. We grow spiritually as we run this race, these days are filled with challenges, strife, disappointments and tests that Our Father uses to grow us.
