On our Carnival Pride cruise, we stopped in Belfast, Northern Ireland and had a chance to spend a few hours in the city. Naturally, we decided the best way to experience the city is through a food tour with #secretfoodtours where we got to learn about the history and culture of Belfast with a local guide. We tried local beers, whiskeys and various foods all while touring the city. Filmed July 2022.

Good video and good food and drink! I have never been to Ireland but drank Guiness once but didn't like it .I don't think I've tried Jameson's whisky .I'm not a whisky drinker .I think it's great you try new foods in different countries!

Thank you for the video. I watched the whole series and I subscribed. I had some questions if you have time to answer. 1) I am certainly new to the whole US dollars to pounds thing. Did you have to convert us dollars to pounds before you went to England or afterwards? Wasn't too sure where to convert it at. Does the English airport have the ability to convert dollars to pounds? 2) You said you took the train in England. How close did it bring you to your hotel in England and did you have trouble with your baggage on the train? 3) The wife and would like to do a similar trip to yours. I noticed they also go to Invergordon Scotland. I was wondering if you did that stop too, and if you did can you show what you did there? Thank you for your video series!!!

Hi Mark! Thanks so much for watching! Here's some answers for your questions :) 1- I converted my cash at my local bank because they do it for free without a fee. I know you can definitely exchange cash at airports, but they charge for it. If you're not planning on bringing a ton of cash, I'd recommend trying to convert it at your local bank beforehand. 2- The train was awesome and we actually were still a bit of a ways away from our hotel and had to take a taxi for about 15 mins to the actual hotel. Depending on where you're staying you probably won't have to do that. We happened to be there during a VERY busy time and ended up staying nowhere near the downtown/touristy areas lol. The train was super easy to use and I only had 1 suitcase and a backpack for luggage so it wasn't difficult getting on/off the train, but if you have multiple bags it might be a bit more of a hassle. 3- We did not go to Invergordon. The only place in Scotland we went to was Stornoway which was a cute little town but there was really nothing to do and the town was so crowded/overrun because of our ship that the restaurants were too full to even get into lol. I definitely would recommend the cruise though as it was overall such a blast! Hope this helps and feel free to DM me on Instagram or Facebook if you have more questions! Cheers!
